Abstract

Temper tantrum merupakan suatu ledakan emosi yang kuat disertai dengan rasa marah. Temper tantrum terjadi salah satunya disebabkan oleh pola asuh orang tua yang salah. Oleh karena itu peneliti malakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pola asuh yang orang tua gunakan dapat menyebabkan temper tantrum pada anak usia dini dan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anak yang temper tantrum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data bersifat korelasional. Tujuan menggunakan analisis statistik korelasional adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai hubungan temper tantrum anak usia dini dengan pola asuh orang tua. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun terlebih dahulu, lalu dilanjutkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada orang tua dan diperkuat dengan wawancara dengan guru kelas. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di TKIT Al-Fitrah Kompleks Margahayu. Semua jenis pola asuh orang tua dapat berpengaruh pada temper tantrum anak usia dini akan tetapi yang dapat meminimalisir terjadinya tempert tantrum pada anak yaitu pola asuh demokratis. -------- Temper tantrums is a strong emotional outbursts accompanied by anger. One of the reasons why temper tantrums occu isr, one of which is caused by the wrong parenting pattern). Therefore, researchers conducted a study with the aim of knowing whether parenting can cause temper tantrums in early childhood and to find out the efforts made by parents to temper tantrums. This study uses quantitative methods with data analysis techniques that are correlational. The purpose of using correlational analysis is to provide an overview of the relationship between early childhood temper tantrums and parenting styles. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing children aged 5-6 years first, then continued by distributing questionnaires to parents and interviews with classroom teachers. Researchers conducted research at TKIT Al-Fitrah Margahayu Complex. All types of parenting can affect the temper tantrums of early childhood, but there is one that can minimize the occurrence of temper tantrums in children which is democratic parenting.
