Abstract

Peningkatan perkembangan fisik dan motorik motorik merupakan salah satu wujud kematangan mahluk hidup. Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2018 prevalensi angka obesitas Indonesia terus meningkat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya sebanyak 3,8%. Hal tersebut menjadi urgensi dapat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan baik secara fisik maupun motorik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perkembangan fisik dengan perkembangan motorik siswa sekolah dasar. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengolahan data korelasional Pearson Product Moment. Data yang diperoleh merupakan data premier dengan teknik pengambilan data observasi langsung kelapangan sehingga didapat skor mentah. Instrument yang digunakan pada perkembangan fisik yaitu indeks massa tubuh (IMT) dan test of gross motor development- two edition atau TGMD-2 sebagai instrumen penelitian pada perkembangan motorik. Hasil penelitian perkembangan fisik tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik mengingat terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan motorik. Diharapkan penelitian ini berguna sebagai bahan penyuluhan terhadap masyarakat tentang perkembangan fisik dan motorik pada anak. Serta dapat dijadikan bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik siswa. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan Fisik, Perkembangan Motorik, Indeks Massa Tubuh. Increased physical and motoric development is one form of maturity of living things. Based on the 2018 Riskesdas data, the prevalence of obesity in Indonesia continues to increase compared to the previous year of 3.8%. This becomes an urgency that can affect growth and development both physically and motorically. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical development and motor development of elementary school students. The research design uses descriptive quantitative data processing techniques Pearson Product Moment correlation. The data obtained is premier data with direct field observation data collection techniques so that a raw score is obtained. The instruments used in physical development are body mass index (BMI) and the test of gross motor development- two edition or TGMD-2 as research instruments on motor development. The results of research on physical development do not have a significant effect on motor development considering that there are many factors that influence motor development. It is hoped that this research will be useful as an outreach material to the community about physical and motor development in children. And can be used as teaching materials to improve students motor development. Keywords: Physical Development, Motor Development, Body Mass Index.
