Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tanggung jawab, gambaran kemandirian belajar dan hubungan antara tanggung jawab dengan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keterbatasan kemampuan terhadap keterampilan 4C dikarenakan perubahan sistem pembelajaran dimasa pandemi. Kurang optimalnya karakter tanggung jawab dan kemandirian belajar yang dimiliki siswa, seperti kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa abai terhadap tugas yang diberikan oleh guru, siswa pasif dalam kegiatan tanya jawab dalam pembelajaran, tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru serta lebih banyak melakukan aktivitas bermain dengan temannya. Aktivitas tersebut kemudian bersinggungan pula dengan kemandirian belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa, teramati bahwa siswa kurang serius dalam mengerjakan tugas serta terdapat siswa yang melihat jawaban dari tugas teman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Penelitian menggunakan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV Kecamatan Lumbung dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 89 siswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik sampel random sederhana. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang dikembangkan sendiri yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya serta pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Tanggung jawab siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 77,5%, 2) Kemandirian belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar 66,3%, dan 3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara tanggung jawab dengan kemandirian belajar dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,565 berada pada kategori sedang. The aims of this research is to find out the description of responsibility, description of independence learning and the relationship between responsibility and independent learning of grade IV elementary school students. This is motivated by the limited ability to 4C skills due to changes in the learning system during the pandemic. Less than optimal character of responsibility and independence learning of student, such as lack of student involvement in the learning process, students ignore the tasks given by the teacher, passive students in question and answer activities in learning, do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation and do more playing activities with friends. The activity then intersects with the independence learning of students, it is observed that students are less serious in doing assignments and there are students who see the answers to their friends' assignments. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive design. This research uses a correlational method. The research population was fourth grade students in Lumbung District with 89 students as samples taken. Samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was a self developed questionnaire that was tested for validity and reliability as well as observation guidelines. The result showed 1) The responsibility of fourth grade elementary school students was in the medium category with a percentage of 77.5%, 2) The independence learning of fourth grade elementary school students was in the medium category with the resulting percentage of 66.3%, and 3) There is a positive relationship between responsibility and independence learning with a correlation value of 0.565 which is in the medium category.
