Abstract
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuan menulis artikel siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kemampuan menulis artikel siswa sebelum menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence, (2) kemampuan menulis artikel siswa sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence, (3) perbedaan kemampuan menulis artikel siswa sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain pretest dan posttest. Teknik yang digunakan merupakan teknik tes yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menulis artikel, yaitu: (1) kemampuan menulis artikel siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung sebelum menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence masih belum tuntas dengan rata-rata nilai 67.37, (2) kemampuan menulis artikel siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence sudah tuntas dengan rata- rata nilai 83.30, (3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan nulis artikel siswa sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence. Hasil uji hipotesis Paired Sample Test (t-test), hasil uji t itung yaitu -10.957 dengan signifikan (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000. Nilai signifikasi 0.000 ≤ 0.05, artinya H1 diterima atau H2 ditolak. Oleh karena itu, bisa disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Concept Sentence bisa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks artikel siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. This study aims to describe: (1) the ability to write articles for students before applying the Concept Sentence learning model, (2) the ability to write articles for students after applying the Concept Sentence learning model, (3) differences in the ability to write articles for students before and after applying the Concept Sentence learning model. The method used in this research is a quasi- experimental study using pretest and posttest designs. The technique used is a test technique given to students of class XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung in the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 30 students. The results of this study are writing articles, namely: (1) the ability to write articles for class XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung before applying the Concept Sentence learning model is still not complete with an average value of 67.37, (2) the ability to write articles for class XII MIPA students. 5 SMAN 15 Bandung after applying the Concept Sentence learning model has been completed with an average value of 83.30, (3) there is a significant difference between students' article writing abilities before and after applying the Concept Sentence learning model. The results of the Paired Sample Test (t-test) hypothesis test, the results of the calculated t-test are -10,957 with a significant (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000. The significance value is 0.000 0.05, meaning that H1 is accepted or H2 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Concept Sentence learning model can improve the ability to write article texts for class XII MIPA 5 SMAN 15 Bandung Academic Year 2021/2022.
