Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari permasalahan siswa di dalam kelas yakni rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa dalam bekerja sama, mengemukakan pendapat dan bertanya dan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Agar permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi, maka digunakanlah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD Negeri Cileunyi 05. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti memberikan alternatif dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Script pada pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui model Cooperative Script dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Script. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas John Elliot yang dilaksanakan selama 3 siklus dan terdiri dari 3 tindakan setiap siklusnya. Data yang diperoleh dari instrumen dikaji dan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui model Cooperative Script ditempuh melalui empat tahapan yang berkesinambungan, yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran, pengamatan (analisis kegiatan), dan refleksi pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Script mengalami peningkatan, hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa yang meningkat. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I aspek kerjasama 2.13, aspek mengemukakan pendapat 0.39, aspek bertanya 0.23. Pada siklus II aspek kerjasama sebesar 2.71, aspek mengemukakan pendapat sebesar 0.58, aspek bertanya sebesar 0.45. Pada siklus III aspek kerjasama 3.35, aspek mengemukakan pendapat 0.79, dan aspek bertanya 0.56. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai nilai 61.23, pada siklus II mencapai 78.67, pada siklus III mencapai 86,43. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, peneliti menyimpulkan model Cooperative Script dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di SD. ----- This research begins with the problems of students in the classroom that is the low social skills of students in working together, express opinions and ask questions and low student learning outcomes. So that problem can be overcome hence in use instructional model that can improve social skill in IPS learning in class IV Elementary School Cileunyi 05. Based on the problem, the researcher give alternative by applying Cooperative Script Model at IPS learning. The purpose of this study is to find out the process of social skills improvement of fourth graders in IPS learning through Cooperative Script model and student learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Script model. The research method used is John Elliot's Class Action Research which is carried out for 3 cycles and consists of 3 actions in each cycle. The data obtained from the instrument is reviewed and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of the research shows that the process of social skills improvement of fourth grade students in IPS learning through Cooperative Script model is done through four continuous stages, namely learning planning, learning activities, observation (activity analysis), and learning reflection. Student learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Script model has increased as can be seen from the average score of students' social skills increases. The average score of students' social skills in cycle I of cooperation aspect is 2.13, aspect expressing opinion is 0.39, aspect asking question is 0.23. In the second cycle of cooperation aspect is 2.71, aspect of expressing opinion is 0.58, aspect of questioning is 0.45, on the third cycle, cooperation aspects is 3.35, aspect of opinions is 0.79, and aspect of questioning is 0.56. While the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 61.23, the second cycle reached 78.67, the third cycle reached 86.43. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concludes that the Cooperative Script Model can improve the social skill of the students on IPS learning in elementary school.
