Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan karena masih banyak siswa yang kurang dapat menyelesaikan malasah metematika. Sehingga kompetensi strategis siswa dapat membantu siswa dalam mengerjakan permasalahan matematika. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan reciprocal teaching terhadap peningkatan kompetensi strategis matematis siswa. Sehingga melalui penelitia yang dilakuan peneliti dapat mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi strategis siswa yang mengunakan pendekatan reciprocal teaching lebih baik dibandingkan dengan konvensional. Secara umum manfaat dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaiman gambaran pendekatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan terhadap kompetensi strategis matematis. Penelitian yang dilakukan mengunakan meteode quasi experiment desing. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, kecamatan Cilengkrang dengan sampel yang dipilih yaitu SDN Cikapundung 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cinangka 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Tes diberikan sebelum peneliti memberikan perlakuan (tes awal/pretest) dan setelah perlakuan (tes akhir/postets). Soal pada tes awal sama dengan soal tes akhir. Hasil analisis data tes awal dan tes akhir menggunakan uji Mann Whitney dengan α = 0,05 dari hasil uji data yaitu pada tes awal Ho diterima artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan kompetensi terategis matematis awal yang signifikan antara siswa yang akan mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching dan konvensional. Pada tes akhir Ho ditolak artinya terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kompetensi strategis matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching lebih baik dibanding dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dari penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching lebih baik dibanding konvensional ----- The research has been done in causative effect of there were still a lot of student getting difficulties to solve Mathematic Chases. So the student’s strategic competence would help students in mathematic chases solving activities. The research is allocated in purpose to find out the influence of Reciprocal Teaching approaching method to the progress of student’s mathematic competence. By the research has been done by the Subject of the programme could prove that Reciprocal Teaching approaching method will be the one better than Conventional ones. In general context the advantage of the research is knowing the real benefit by approaching learning method for mathematic strategic competence. The method of the research used Quasi experiment desing. The populative sample in this research is all of the 5th grade students of SDN Cikapundung 2, district of Cilengkrang and also SDN Cinangka 2 as the Controlling Class. The test has been given before The Subject of the research made any action (Pretest) and after (Post test). The task points of pretest was the similar one of in post test. The analitycal result after pretest and post test was using Mann Whitney test with α=0.05 taken from Data check namely in Pretest Ho accepted it means there weren’t any differences in Mathematic strategic competence ability of the students whom as the target of both Reciprocal Teaching and conventional one. In post test Ho denied it means there were some differences in progress by Mathematic strategic competence ability of the students they were the group of Reciprocal Teaching Object, it has been proven better than the conventional teaching method. It can tobe concluded that Reciprocal Teaching is much better than the conventional ones
