Abstract

Dewasa ini perkembangan teknologi informasi dan digitalisasi sudah memasuki berbagai aspek kehidupan termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Peran teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan semakin terasa nyata manfaatnya sejak adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang membuat dunia pendidikan harus beradaptasi dengan kebiasaan pembelajaran yang baru. Penggunaan media audio visual berbasis aplikasi android menjadi salah satu terobosan baru dalam pembelajaran menyimak dongeng salah satunya yaitu media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara) terhadap keterampilan menyimak dongeng siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang dilakukan di SDN Jelegong 03 Kabupaten Bandung. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 siswa kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 15 siswa kelas B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara) efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran menyimak dongeng karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional (tanpa melibatkan media). Hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai t tabel > t hitung dan nilai Sig. < 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan perlakuan, kemampuan menyimak dongeng kedua kelas berbeda secara signifikan. Hal tersebut juga didukung dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata Posttest kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi yaitu 83 dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata Posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 75. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak dongeng siswa secara signifikan. Pembelajaran menyimak dongeng menggunakan media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara) apabila berhasil dikembangkan secara terus menerus akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran ini memberikan pengalaman yang lebih bermakna serta iklim belajar yang diciptakan lebih interaktif dengan siswa. Dengan demikian diperlukan upaya mengintegrasikan media aplikasi DORA (dongeng nusantara) yang disertai dengan pengemasan materi yang inovatif agar siswa dapat dengan baik memahami materi yang didapatkan. Nowadays the development of information technology and digitalization has entered various aspects of life, including in the field of education. The role of technology in the field of education has become increasingly apparent since the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the world of education to adapt to new learning habits. The use of audio-visual media based on Android applications is one of the new breakthroughs in learning to listen to fairy tales, one of which is the DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales). This study aims to determine the effect of the application of DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales) on students' fairy tale listening skills. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design which was conducted at SDN Jelegong 03 Bandung Regency. The research subjects were 30 students of class IV consisting of 15 students of class A as the experimental class and 15 students of class B as the control class. The results showed that the DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales) was effectively used in learning to listen to fairy tales because it could improve student learning outcomes compared to conventional learning (without involving the media). This is indicated by the value of t table > t arithmetic and the value of Sig. <0.05 which indicates that after being given treatment, the ability to listen to fairy tales in the two classes is significantly different. This is also supported by the higher average Posttest score of the experimental class, which is 83 compared to the average Posttest score of the control class, which is 75. Thus, it can be concluded that the DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales) can significantly improve students' listening skills. Listening learning using DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales) if developed continuously will have a significant impact. This is because this learning is a more meaningful experience and the learning climate is created to be more interactive with students. Thus, it is necessary to integrate DORA application media (Indonesian fairy tales) accompanied by innovative packaging of materials so that students can understand the material obtained well.
