Abstract

Saat ini Indonesia dihadapkan dengan persoalan karakter bangsa yang semakin melemah, hal tersebut sejalan dengan kondisi dan bukti nyata disekitar kita budaya mencontek di kalangan peserta didik, tawuran antar pelajar, pergaulan bebas, penyalahgunaan narkoba, dan lain sebagainya. Apabila kondisi penyimpangan pada peserta didik terus terjadi dikhawatirkan akan berlanjut terus menerus apabila tanpa diproses melalui pendidikan karakter yang optimal. Penanaman nilai karakter dapat dikembangkan melalui ekstrakurikuler pramuka. Sehingga peneliti sangat tertarik untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai karakter apa saja yang dikembangkan dan kegiatan kepramukaan apa saja yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter di SD Negeri 130 Batununggal Sekelimus. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, dan pendekatan yang digunakan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang telah didapat yaitu ada beberapa nilai karakter yang dikembangkan, diantaranya: peduli sosial, kerjasama, tanggung jawab, religius, ketelitian, kesabaran, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, kreatif, mandiri, peduli lingkungan, tangguh, kepemimpinan. ----- Currently, Indonesia is faced with the problem of a weakening national character, this is in line with the conditions and real evidence around us, the culture of cheating among students, brawls between students, promiscuity, drug abuse, and so on. If the condition of deviation in students continues to occur, it is feared that it will continue without being processed through optimal character education. The cultivation of character values can be developed through scout extracurriculars. So the researchers are excited to know any character values are developing and any scouting activities which contain character values at SD Negeri 130 Batununggal Sekelimus. This research method is a case study, and the approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research that have been obtained are that there are several character values that have been developed, including: faith and piety to God Almighty, social care, cooperation, responsibility, religious, thoroughness, patience, hard work, curiosity, creative, independent, care for the environment, tough, leadership.
