Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media buku harian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Media buku harian ini dikembangkan melalui metode Design and Develpoment (D&D) model Peffer, dkk. Yang memiliki 6 (enam) tahapan, yaitu (1) Identify the Problem, menganalisis buku siswa dan buku guru serta melakukan wawancara dengan guru kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Menemukan permasalahan terkait rendahnya keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar dan ketidaktersediaannya media pembelajaran khusus yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis tegak bersambung. Melakukan studi literature terkait media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis. Media buku harian dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dalam membelajarkan dan melatih keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. (2) Describe the objectives, tujuan dati penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media buku harian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. (3) Design and develop the artifact, membuat rancangan media buku harian. Mengembangkan rancangan media buku harian. Membuat desain media buku harian. Memproduksi desain media buku harian kedalam bentuk buku. (4) Test the artifact, validasi ahli dan uji coba siswa dengan wawancara. Validasi ahli dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media buku harian. Presentase rata-rata hasil validasi yaitu, 83,9% dengan kategori sangat baik. (5) Evaluate the result, evaluasi setelah uji coba. Hasil wawancara menunjukan tanggapan positif siswa terhadap media buku harian. Media buku harian layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. (6) Communicate the testing results, hasil uji coba dikomunikasikan melalui dua cara, yaitu secara tertulis melalui laporan (skripsi) dan lisan melalui ujian sidang. The purpose of this research is to develop a diary to improve cursive writing skills for grade II Elementary school students. This diary media was developed using the Design and Development (D&D) model of Peffer et al. Which has 6 (six) stages, namely (1) Identify the Problem, analyze student books and teacher books and conduct interviews with second grade elementary school teachers. Finding problems related to the low cursive writing skills of grade II elementary school students and the unavailability of special learning media used for learning cursive writing. Conducting literature studies related to learning media that can be used for learning to write. Diary media can be used as a means to teach and practice cursive writing skills for second grade elementary school students. (2) Describe the objectives, the purpose of this research is to develop a diary to improve the cursive writing skills of second grade elementary school students. (3) Design and develop the artifact, create a diary media design. Develop a diary media design. Create a diary media design. Producing diary media designs into book form. (4) Test the artifact, expert validation and student trials with interviews. Expert validation was carried out to determine the feasibility of the diary media. The average percentage of validation results is 83.9% in the very good category. (5) Evaluate the result, evaluate after the trial. The results of the interviews showed students' positive responses to the diary media. Media diaries are appropriate to be used to improve the cursive writing skills of second grade elementary school students. (6) Communicate the testing results, the test results are communicated in two ways, namely in writing through a report (thesis) and verbally through oral examination.
