Abstract

Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah terdapat keluhan guru tentang kemampuan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran violin di sekolah menengah musik atau kurang aktifnya siswa untuk mempelajari materi yang telah guru berikan karena terdapat banyak hambatan lain di dalam pembelajaran violin. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pendekatan kepada siswa untuk mengetahui materi apa yang diperlukan siswa dalam pembelajaran violin tersebut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan menggunakan wawancara, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, sebagai teknik pengumpulan data penelitian. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini, dengan berdasarkan hasil temuan yang terdapat pada wawancara dengan narasumber yaitu, terdapat perbedaan materi pada setiap siswanya, karena guru tidak menyamaratakan kemampuan siswa violin. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Sekolah Menengah Musik, Pembelajaran Violin ABSTRACT The background of this research is the teacher's complaint about the students' ability to participate in violin learning in music high school, the less active students are to learn the material that the teacher has given because there are many other obstacles in learning the violin. Therefore, an approach is needed for students to find out what material students need in learning the violin. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using interviews, structured interviews, and documentation, as research data collection techniques. The conclusions of this study, based on the findings contained in interviews with resource persons, namely, there are differences in the material for each student, because the teacher does not generalize the violin students' abilities.
