Abstract

enelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya nilai hasil ulangan IPA, hal ini ditandai dengan ketuntasan nilai berdasarkan KKM yang hanya mencapai 38,23%, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas hanya 56,76. Hal tersebut diperkirakan karena cara mengajar guru yang masih menerapkan metode ceramah. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dari: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan pendekatan inquiry dan metode course review horay untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam sub pokok bahasan alat optik, (2) pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan pendekatan inquiry dan metode course review horay untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam sub pokok bahasan alat optik, dan (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pendekatan inquiry dan metode course review horay pada pembelajaran IPA sub pokok bahasan alat optik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diadaptasi dari model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan tiga siklus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa kelas V semester 2 SDN 6 Cikidang Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan inquiry dan metode Course Review Horay pada pembelajaran IPA sub pokok bahasan alat optik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan baik dari hasil dan proses pembelajaran, hal ini terlihat dari keantusiasan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan perolehan nilai yang meningkat. Pada siklus I, rata-rata nilai kelas mencapai 58,82 dengan persentase ketuntasan berdasarkan KKM sebesar 50%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata 76 dengan persentase ketuntasan KKM 73,52%. Pada siklus III mencapai nilai rata-rata 79 dengan persentase ketuntasan KKM sebesar 94,11%. Penjabaran tersebut membuktikan bahwa penerapan pendekatan inquiry dan metode course review horay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA sub pokok bahasan alat optik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ada beberapa saran diantaranya: (1) guru sebaiknya menguasai metode pembelajaran aktif agar pembelajaran tidak monoton dan siswa antusias terhadap pembelajaran, guru juga harus lebih pandai mengelola kelas agar selalu kondusif, (2) sekolah dapat memfasilitasi sarana, prasarana yang memadai serta dapat memotivasi tenaga pengajar meningkatkan kemampuan profesi guru dengan memfasilitasi pelatihan-pelatihan yang menunjang. Objectives that will be achieved in this research are : (1) construct a series of learning activity in science subject by using the inquiry approach and Course Review Horay method to improve student learning outcomes in the sub study the optic tool, (2) implementing the process of learning ini science subject by using the inquiry approach and Course Review Horay method to improve student learning outcomes in the sub study the optic tool, (3) improve student learning outcomes by implementing the inquiry approach and Course Review Horay method to improve student learning outcomes in the sub study the optic tool. The method which used in this study is Classroom Action Research. The result of implementing the inquiry approach Course Review Horay method in science learning activity shows improvement in the learning process, and the student appear to be enthusiastic in particitating the learning activities. The result havng increase; in cycle I, the class average grade reached 58,82 with Minimum Criteria of Completeness reached 50%. In cycle II, the class average grade reached 76 with Minimum Criteria of Completeness reached 75,32%. In cycle III the class average grade reached 79 with Minimum Criteria of Completeness reached 94,11%.
