Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh sebuah fenomena yang terjadi pada peserta didik SMK mengenai perkembangan identitas vokasional. Peserta didik kelas XI yang sedang berada pada masa remaja akhir dihadapkan dengan pemilihan jurusan kuliah atau bila langsung bekerja dihadapkan dengan pilihan bidang pekerjaan yang sesuai kemampuan dan minatnya. Pada masa remaja akhir seharusnya peserta didik sudah mencapai identitas vokasionalnya dengan mampu menetapkan sebuah keputusan vokasional dan berkomitmen terhadapnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh status identitas vokasional peserta didik dan rumusan program bimbingan karier berdasarkan status identitas vokasional peserta didik yang layak untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 218 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah instrumen Eksplorasi dan Komitmen Vokasional yang berupa angket dan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status identitas vokasional peserta didik kelas XI berada pada status identitas vokasional achievement, dan penelitian ini menghasilkan program bimbingan karier berdasarkan status identitas vokasional peserta didik kelas XI yang layak untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah menurut Pakar dan Praktisi Bimbingan dan Konseling. The background to the research is the phenomenon of vocational high school students' development of vocational identity. 11th grades who are in their late adolescence are faced with choosing a college major or if they go straight to work they are faced with a choice of fields of work that suit their abilities and interests. In late adolescence students should have achieved their vocational identity by being able to determine a vocational decision and commitment. This research aims to find the profile of students’ status of the vocational identity and the formulation of a career guidance program based on the profile of students’ status of the vocational identity that is feasible to be implemented in schools. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative research approach. The participants of this research were students of 11th grade in SMK Negeri 1 Bandung for the academic year 2020/2021 with a total sample of 218 students. The instrument used to collect data was the Vocational Exploration and Commitment instrument in the form of a questionnaire and using a Likert scale. The results showed that status vocational identity of student 11th grade was at the status vocational identity achievement, and this study produced a career guidance program based on the profile status of student 11th grade that was feasible to be implemented in schools according to Experts and Practitioners of Guidance and Counseling.
