Abstract

Memberikan stimulasi bagi kreativitas anak usia dini menjadi sangat penting dilakukan agar dapat menjadikan anak mampu berkembang dengan baik sesuai dengan tahapan usia perkembangannya. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya memberikan stimulasi dalam kreativitas anak yaitu dengan penggunaan kegiatan bermain balok kreasi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya anak yang masih kurang berkembang dalam kreativitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan dapat memperoleh gambaran terkait penerapan kegiatan bermain balok kreasi sebagai stimulasi kreativitas anak usia dini, serta mengetahui gambaran kreativitas anak usia dini dalam kegiatan bermain balok kreasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di TK X Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis data model Thematic Analysis. Hasil penelitian diperoleh data mengenai penerapan kegiatan bermain balok kreasi yang didalamnya terdapat (1)Perencanaan kegiatan harian yang sesuai dengan tema dan indikator yang harus dipenuhi, tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan bermain balok kreasi (kegiatan pembukaan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup), kesulitan yang guru rasakan untuk mengkondisikan anak saat kegiatan berlangsung dan melakukan upaya yaitu berkoordinasi langsung dengan guru wali, adapun kelebihan dari adanya kegiatan bermain balok kreasi yaitu mengembangkan berbagai perkembangan anak khususnya perkembangan kreativitas, (2)Kreativitas anak usia dini yang muncul dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan bermain balok kreasi dengan dorongan dan motivasi dari orang dewasa yaitu anak dapat menghasilkan suatu bentuk tanpa bantuan orang dewasa, anak dapat menjawab pertanyaan sederhana, anak bertanggungjawab atas tugas yang diberikan, anak dapat memecahkan masalah sederhana, serta anak memiliki inisiatif dan imajinatif. ------ Provide stimulation for creativity in early childhood is very important in order to give birth to children who are able to develop properly in accordance with the stages of developmental age. One of the activities that can be done in an effort to provide stimulation in children's creativity is by playing creative blocks. This research was guided by the existence of children who are still less developed in their creativity. The purpose of this research is to obtain an overview regarding the application of creative block play activities as stimulation of early childhood creativity, as well as knowing the description of early childhood creativity in playing creative blocks. The data collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The research location was carried out in the Kindergarten X in the City of Bandung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with data analysis model Thematic Analysis. The results of the data were obtained by implementing the block game activities, namely; (1)Arranging the daily plan, which is contained the themes and indicators of the game (opening activities, main activities, and closing activities). Some difficulties were found during the activity; however, after coordinating directly with the guardian teacher, the problem was solved, as for the advantage of the stimulating game, the children were successfully developing various developments, especially the development of creativity. (2)Early childhood creativity that stimulated by playing the game with some encouragements and motivations from adults could build the children's creativity without adult help; they are capable of answering simple questions, competent of being responsible for the given task, qualified of solving some simple problems, and clever of being initiative and imaginative as they are.
