Abstract
Literasi saintifik merupakan kemampuan peserta didik untuk dapat memahami dan terlibat dalam diskusi isu sains dan teknologi maupun dalam penyelesaian permasalahan dan pengambilan keputusan secara ilmiah di masyarakat. Literasi saintifik yang dilatihkan pada peserta didik meliputi 3 kompetensi diantaranya menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, mengevaluasi dan merancang pertanyaan ilmiah, dan menafsirkan data dan bukti secara ilmiah. Kompetensi literasi saintifik peserta didik Indonesia dalam hasil PISA 2018 berada di urutan 72 dari 78 negara peserta PISA, karena itu diperlukan adanya model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi literasi saintifik. Pemberian reading infusion sebagai bacaan yang dapat mendorong peserta didik untuk terus membaca dipadu dengan pendekatan saintifik sebagai model pembelajaran yang memuat aktivitas mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi dan mengomunikasikan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi literasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain reading infusion terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi literasi saintifik peserta didik SMA pada materi gelombang. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini terkait dengan karakteristik desain reading infusion terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan literasi saintifik peserta didik SMA serta hasil validasi ahli terhadap desain pembelajaran yang telah dibuat. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan metode penelitian design research. Instrumen penelitian ini diantaranya desain rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), lembar reading infusion, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) dan soal kompetensi literasi saintifik fisika materi gelombang yang divalidasi oleh dosen dan guru dan soal diujicobakan kepada peserta didik untuk mendapatkan kesesuaian dan kualitas dari desain instrumen tersebut. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dari hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian desain rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) “sangat sesuai” dengan skor sebesar 18,03; kualitas reading infusion dan lembar kerja peserta didik “sangat baik” dengan skor masing-masing sebesar 18,9 dan 19,18; dan kualitas soal kompetensi literasi saintifik berdasar nilai CVI sebesar 0,96 “sangat sesuai” dengan persentase validitas item kategori cukup sampai tinggi sebesar 36,7%, proporsi tingkat kesukaran belum normal yaitu kategori sukar 46,67%, sedang 46,67% dan mudah 6,66% dan koefisien reliabilitas item sebesar 0,85 yang menyatakan soal reliabel dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”. Scientific literacy is the ability of students to be able to understand and be involved in discussing science and technology issues as well as in solving problems and making scientific decisions in society. Scientific literacy trained students in 3 competencies including explaining phenomena scientifially, evaluating and designing scientific enquiry, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. The scientific literacy competence of Indonesian students in the 2018 PISA results ranks 72 out of 78 PISA participating countries, therefore it is necessary to have a learning model that can improve scientific literacy competence. The provision of reading infusion as a reading that can encourage students to continue reading combined with the scientific approach as a learning model that includes observing, asking, gathering information, associating and communicating activities is expected to improve the literacy competence of students. This study aims to obtain a reading infusion design integrated with a scientific approach that can improve the scientific literacy competence of high school students on wave material. The formulation of the problem in this study is related to the characteristics of the reading infusion design integrated with the scientific approach to improve the scientific literacy of high school students as well as the results of expert validation on the learning designs that have been made. This research is in the form of a descriptive analytic study using design research methods. The research instruments included the design of the lesson plan, reading infusion sheets, student worksheets and questions on the scientific literacy competency of wave material which were validated by lecturers and teachers and the questions were tried out on students to get the suitability and quality of the instrument design. Based on data processing from the validation results, it shows the level of suitability of the design of the lesson plan "very appropriate" with a score of 18.03; the quality of the reading infusion and student worksheets was "very good" with scores of 18.9 and 19.18 respectively; and the quality of scientific literacy competency questions based on the CVI value of 0.96 "very suitable" with the percentage of the item validity category is sufficient to high of 36.7%, the proportion of difficulty level is not normal (the difficult category 46.67%, moderate 46.67% and easy 6.66%) and item reliability coefficient of 0.85 which states that the questions are reliable in the "very high" category.
