Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian soal tes bidang studi IPS ditinjau dari dimensi Higher Order Thingking (HOTS) pada buku siswa kelas V SD/MI. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku siswa kelas V SD/MI semester I dan II terbitan Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Edisi Revisi Tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis konten (isi) ditinjau dari indikator dimensi HOTS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif menurut Milles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa soal tes pada buku siswa kelas V SD/MI semester I dan II tidak semuanya memuat indikator HOTS. Soal tes materi IPS kelas V SD/MI didominasi oleh indikator C4 dengan jumlah 16 soal tes sedangkan pada indikator C6 dengan jumlah 4 soal tes yang begitu minim dan indikator C5 dengan jumlah 10 soal tes yang terdapat didalam buku siswa kela V SDPMI semester I dan II. ----- This study purpose to determine the suitability of the test questions in the social studies field in terms of the Higher Order Thingking (HOTS) dimension of the fifth grade SD/MI student books. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the students' books of class V SD/MI semester I and II published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Revised Edition of 2017. The data collection technique uses content analysis in terms of HOTS dimension indicators. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis according to Milles and Huberman. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the test questions in the fifth grade students' books of SD/MI semesters I and II did not all contain HOTS indicators. Social studies material test questions for class V SD/MI are dominated by the C4 indicator with a total of 16 test questions, while the C6 indicator with a total of 4 test questions is so minimal and the C5 indicator with a total of 10 test questions contained in the student book of class V SD/MI semester I and II.
