Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi permasalahan bahwa pada saat pembelajaran karya seni mozaik bahwa kreativitas siswa masih kurang khususnya berbantuan media cangkang telur, siswa masih kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kreativitasnya atau kurang mengekspresikan ide dan imajinasinya ke dalam pembuatan karya seni mozaik tersebut. Ketidakampuan dari seorang guru untuk membangkitkan keaktifan siswa dalam mengembangakan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya seni mozaik, karena terlihat di lapangan guru masih menggunakan contoh karya mozaik melalui gambar saja tidak mempraktikkan terlebih dahulu kepada siswa. Sehingga kurangnya rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap karya yang akan dibuatnya, karena guru sebagai segi pendorong untuk siswa kurang memberikan kepercayaan diri bagi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kreativitas dalam membuat karya seni mozaik dengan berbantuan media cangkang telur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tenjolaya. Instrumen yang digunakan dalan penelitian berupa lembar indikator penilaian kreativitas dan angket terbuka berupa pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis yang dilakukan pada karya seni mozaik siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya seni mozaik di SD Negeri Tenjolaya ini kreativitasnya cukup baik dilihat dari 17 orang siswa yang sudah muncul kreativitasnya itu terdapat 9 orang siswa. ----- This research is motivated by the problem that at the time of learning mosaic artwork that students' creativity is still lacking, especially with the help of eggshell media, students still have difficulty developing their creativity or do not express their ideas and imagination in making these mosaic artworks. The inability of a teacher to arouse student activeness in developing student creativity in making mosaic artwork, because it can be seen in the field that the teacher still uses examples of mosaic work through pictures alone, not practicing it first to students. So that there is a lack of student curiosity about the work that will be made, because the teacher as a driving force for students does not provide confidence for students. The purpose of this study is to determine the creativity in making mosaic artworks using eggshell media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The research object in this study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Tenjolaya. The instruments used in the research were creativity assessment indicator sheets and open questionnaires in the form of questions. Based on the results of research and analysis carried out on student mosaic artworks, it can be concluded that to determine the creativity of students in making mosaic artwork at SD Negeri Tenjolaya, their creativity is quite good, seen from 17 students whose creativity has appeared there are 9 students.
