Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian soal tes bidang studi IPS ditinjau dari dimensi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada buku siswa kelas IV SD/MI. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku siswa kelas IV SD/MI semester I dan II terbitan Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Edisi Revisi Tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis konten (isi) ditinjau dari indikator dimensi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif menurut Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa soal tes pada buku siswa kelas IV SD/MI semester I dan II terdapat beberapa yang termasuk pada indikator Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada indikator C4, C5, dan C6. Hasil temuan pada buku siswa tema 1 belum terdapat indikator HOTS, sedangkan pada indikator C6 hanya terdapat pada tema 6 saja pada buku siswa kelas IV SD/MI semester I dan II. ----- This study aims to determine the suitability of the test questions in the field of social studies in terms of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dimensions in the fourth grade SD/MI student books. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the books of fourth grade students of SD / MI semesters I and II published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, 2017 Revised Edition. The data collection technique used content analysis in terms of indicators of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dimension. The data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The results conclusion obtained show that there are several test questions in the fourth grade students books of SD/MI semester I and II which are included in the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) indicator on C4, C5, and C6. The findings in the student book theme 1 had no HOTS indicators, while the indicator C6 in the fourth grade students books of SD/MI semester I and II.
