Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik ditinjau dari indikator isi gagasan, organisasi isi, ciri linguistik narasi, jenis narasi, dan penggunaan ejaan. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Peserta didik yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 peserta didik dari SDN 2 Jatisura. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik kurang mampu. Hal ini terlihat dari indikator yang diteliti yaitu: (1) kemampuan menulis karangan peserta didik dari indikator isi gagasan, peserta didik kurang mampu dalam menyertakan konflik dalam cerita dan menyajikan cerita secara urutan kronologis; (2) kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik dari indikator struktur organisasi narasi, peserta didik kurang mampu dalam menjabarkan komplikasi dan resolusi yang terdapat pada hasil karangan yang telah dibuat; (3) kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik dari indikator jenis narasi, peserta didik kurang mampu dalam mengetahui jenis narasi yang digunakan pada hasil karangan yang telah dibuatnya; (4) kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik dari indikator penggunaan ejaan, peserta didik kurang mampu dalam memperhatikan penggunaan huruf kapital, tanda koma, dan tanda titik. Sementara itu, kemampuan menulis karangan narasi peserta didik dari indikator ciri linguistik narasi, peserta didik mampu dalam menggunakan kata sambung sebagai keterangan waktu, kata kerja aksi, mendeskripsikan sifat pelaku, dan kata kerja mental. ----- This study aims to describe the ability of writing narrative essay students review of the indicators of the content of ideas, organization of content, characteristic of the linguistic narrative, type of narrative, and the use of spelling. This research belongs to the descriptive research type with quantitative approach. Learners involved in this study were 16 students of SDN 2 Jatisura. The data used in this research is test data. The results of this study indicate that the ability to write narrative essay learners are less able. It is seen from the indicators studied were: (1) the ability to write the essay of students of the indicators of the content of the idea, learners are less able to include the conflict in the story and present the story in chronological order; (2) the ability to write narrative essay of students of the indicators of the organizational structure of the narrative, learners are less able in describing the complications and the resolution contained in the results of a bouquet that has been created; (3) the ability to write narrative essay learners of indicator type of narrative, learners are less able to know the type of narration used on the results of a bouquet that has been made; (4) the ability to write narrative essay learners of indicators the use of spelling, learners are less able to pay attention to the use of capital letters, commas, and periods. Meanwhile, the ability to write narrative essay learners of indicators characterizes the linguistic narrative, learners are able to use the word connect as adverbs of time, verb of action, describing the nature of the offender, and the word mental labor.
