Abstract

Penulis ini diarahkan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa media cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran membaca nyaring pada siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini pada umumnya dilatar belakangi oleh ketersediaan media pembelajaran untuk membaca nyaring di Sekolah Dasar yang terbatas. Sehingga para guru cenderung menerapkan model pembelajaran konversional tanpa pengguna media pelajaran di dalamnya, yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran membaca nyaring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Design & Development (D&D) dengan menerapkan tahapan pengembangkan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ke para ahli menggunakan angket menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan oleh penulis layak untuk digunakan. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran membaca nyaring pada siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar memperoleh interpretasi sangat baik (sangat valid). Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini sudah layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca nyaring di kelas II Sekolah Dasar. This research aimed to develop a product in the form of story book in learning to read aloud in a clear intonation for student in second grade of primary school. This research based on the learning media to read aloud in a clear intonation is still limited. Providing the teachers tend to apply the conventional learning model without making the students practice. Which make them having difficulty in reading aloud in a clear intonation. This reseach was conducted using Design and Development (D&D) investigation with applying the steps of model development of ADDIE, the result showed that the media that is used by the writer is ethical. The result of research to experts using a questionnaire show that the media developed by breeders is feasible to use. Accordingly, the development media of a story book in order to make students in second grade of primary school can read aloud in a clear intonation acquire an excellent interpretation. Therefore, it can be concluded that this media of learning is ethical to be used in learning to read aloud for second grade of primary school.
