Abstract

Menulis tegak bersambung merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang harus dikuasi oleh siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas rendah sesuai dengan standar kompetensi tuntutan kurikulum. Namun pada kenyataannya masih terdapat banyak siswa yang belum menguasai keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung. Hal tersebut dikarenakan bagi sebagian siswa menulis dengan huruf tegak bersambung merupakan hal yang sangat rumit, sehingga hanya beberapa siswa yang terampil yang mampu mencapai KKM. Pengembangan bahan ajar merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa Sekolah Dasar. Fokus dan tujuan penelitian ini ialah “Mendeskripsikan analisis menulis tegak bersambung siswa dalam pengembangan bahan ajar di Sekolah Dasar”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN S Kota Bandung dengan subjek penelitian 34 siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas II, 1 Dosen ahli isi/ Materi, 1 Dosen ahli desain serta 1 Guru Sekolah Dasar kelas rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa wawancara kepada wali kelas II serta penyebaran angket validasi bahan ajar yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti kepada para Dosen ahli serta Guru Sekolah Dasar. Data yang telah terkumpul melalui penyebaran angket kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Skala Likert. Pada penelitian ini diketahui hasil menulis tegak bersambung siswa masih berada di bawah KKM. Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti menghasilkan produk berupa buku panduan menulis tegak bersambung dengan hasil uji coba produk yang termasuk dalam kategori interpretasi Sangat Baik sehingga layak untuk dipergunakan. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Bahan Ajar, Menulis Tegak Bersambung Fine writing is one of the language skills that must be mastered by low grade elementary school students in accordance with the competency standards the curriculum demands. But in reality there are still many students who have not mastered fine writing skills. This is because for some students writing in cursive letters is very complicated, so that only a few skilled students are able to reach the KKM. The development of teaching materials is an alternative that teachers can do to improve the cursive writing skills of elementary school students. The focus and purpose of this study is "to describe the analysis of students' cursive writing in the development of teaching materials in elementary schools". This study uses the Design and Development (D&D) method. This research was conducted at SDN S Kota Bandung with the research subjects 34 elementary school students class II, 1 content expert lecturers, 1 design expert lecturers and 1 low grade elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out in the form of interviews with class II homeroom teachers as well as distributing validation questionnaires for teaching materials developed by researchers to expert lecturers and elementary school teachers. The data that has been collected through questionnaires are then analyzed using a Likert scale. In this study, it was found that the results of students' fine writing were still under the KKM. Teaching materials that have been developed by the researcher produce a product in the form of a guidebook to write upright with the results of product trials that are included in the Very Good interpretation category so that they are suitable for use.
