Abstract

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah pada pembelajaran matematika materi keliling bangun datar. Guru tidak menghadirkan media pembelajaran yang menunjang di kelas III salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Kota Bandung. Pembelajaran hanya fokus pada penjelasan guru secara verbal yang menggunakan metode ceramah, prosesnya hanya terpaku pada latihan soal yang diberikan guru atau yang ada pada buku modul tanpa melibatkan keaktifan siswa secara langsung (hands on activity). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media pembelajaran BUSAMA (Buletin Saku Matematika) untuk pembelajaran matematika materi keliling bangun datar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menerapkan penelitian Design and Development yang mengadopsi pengembangan dari Richey & Klein (2007) dengan model Product Development Research yang memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu Planning, Production and Evaluation (PPE). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah validator ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, ahli bahasa dan guru kelas untuk menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran BUSAMA (Buletin Saku Matematika). Pemerolehan hasil data dianalisis dengan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; (1) telah dikembangkan media pembelajaran BUSAMA (Buletin Saku Matematika) yang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika materi keliling bangun datar kelas III SD; (2) kelayakan media pembelajaran BUSAMA (Buletin Saku Matematika) yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi adalah sangat layak dengan persentase 92,39%, ahli media memperoleh persentase 95,19% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli bahasa memperoleh persentase 76,78% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan (3) penilaian guru kelas III sebagai ahli pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 88,43% dengan kriteria adalah sangat layak.

ABSTRACT
This research is set back by an understanding of concepts and the results of students low learning on the mathematics of matter perimeter two dimensional shapes. The teacher did not present a supporting learning media study in class III one of the primary schools in Bandung. The learning focuses only on the verbal teacher's explanations using the lecture method, the process focuses only on the teacher's assigned exercises or the ones on the module book without directly involving student activeness (hands on activity). The study aims to describe the development of the BUSAMA's learning media (Buletin Saku Matematika) for the math matter perimeter two dimensional shapes of grade III elementary school students. This study applies the Design and Development research that adopts the development of Richey & Klein (2007) with the Product Development Research model that has three stages, that is Planning, Production and Evaluation (PPE). Participants in this study are made up of materials, media experts, linguists and class teachers to test the worthiness of the BUSAMA's learning media (Buletin Saku Matematika). The formulation of data results is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this study were; (1) BUSAMA's learning media (Buletin Saku Matematika) has developed that can be used in the mathematical study of matter perimeter two dimensional shapes of grade III elementary school; (2) the feasibility of BUSAMA's learning media (Buletin Saku Matematika) which has been developed based on the assessment of material experts is very feasible with a percentage of 92.39%, media experts get a percentage of 95.19% with very feasible criteria, linguists get a percentage of 76.78% with very feasible criteria, and (3) the assessment of class III teachers as learning experts achieves an average of 88.43% with the criteria is very feasible.
