Abstract

Orang tua adalah pendidik pertama dan utama bagi anak, terutama ibu , ibu ialah model yang harus ditiru dan diteladani oleh anak, sebagai model. Oleh karena itu ibu harus memberikan contoh yang terbaik bagi anak. Dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan pada anak. Kedisiplinan sangat penting bagi anak, karena sangat berguna bagi anak untuk dapat memahami akan adanya aturan. Aturan itu ada dikeseharian hidup anak. Kondisi kejiwaan anak mamang msih butuh untuk diatur, supaya anak merasa tentram bila hidup teratur tugas orang tua harus dapat membentuk kedisiplinan anak dengan cara membiaskan anak dan melatih anak agar anak terbiasa dalam melaksanakan kedisiplinan, dan diharapkan nanti hasilnya bisa melekat pada anak sampai anak dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran ibu dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. subjek penelitian ialah ibu yang mempunyai status bekerjaan yang berbeda. 2 orang ibu yang bekerja dirumah dan 2 orang ibu yang bekerja dirumah luar rumah. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua merupakan pendidikan yang pertama dalam membentuk karakter anak termasuk karakter disiplin. Ibu memiliki peranan penting dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan anak dilingkungan keluarga, ibu harus menjadi teladan yang baik untuk anak. serta orang tua harus bisa memberikan pola asuh yang benar agar anak tidak mempunyai kepribadian yang kurang baik. Orang tua yang tidak memiliki kesibukan bekerja diluar rumah akan memiliki kesulitan dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan keanak aturan-aturan yang diberikan pada anak akan hilang dan akan tergantikan dengan pola asuh dari neneknya atau dari orang lain yang dekat dengan anak. Parents are the first and foremost educators of children, especially mothers, mothers are models that children must imitate and emulate, as models. Therefore, mothers must provide the best example for their children. In instilling discipline in children. Discipline is very important for children, because it is very useful for children to be able to understand the rules. These rules exist in the child's daily life. The psychological condition of the child still needs to be regulated, so that the child feels at ease when living regularly, the parents' duties must be able to shape the child's discipline by biasing the child and training the child so that the child gets used to carrying out discipline, and it is hoped that the results can stick to the child to the adult. This study aims to determine how the role of mothers in instilling discipline in children. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Research subjects are mothers who have different work status. 2 mothers who work at home and 2 mothers who work outside the home. The results of the study indicate that parents are the first education in shaping children's character, including the character of discipline. Mothers have an important role in instilling discipline for children in the family environment, mothers must be good role models for children. and parents must be able to provide proper parenting so that children do not have a bad personality. Parents who are not busy working outside the home will have difficulty instilling child discipline. The rules given to children will be lost and will be replaced by parenting from their grandmother or from other people close to the child.
