Abstract

ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK (Penelitian Deskritif Kualitatif yang Dilaksanakan pada Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri SUKAMELANG Kecamatan Subang, Kabupaten Subang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020) Oleh: Rika Nurmala NIM. 1601414 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV yang masih rendah hal tersebut terlihat dengan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa rata-rata dibawah kriteria ketuntasan belajar dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning pada pembelajaran tematik. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskritif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan wawancara. Tempat penelitian yang dipilih adalah SDN SUKAMELANG. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas IV dan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa dengan nilai tinggi, sedang dan rendah yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan hasil tes pemahaman konsep. Melihat hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning tergolong kategori baik. Rata-rata indikator yang tercapai diatas 50% yaitu didapatkan rata-rata presentase 58,05%. Terdapat tiga indikator dengan kategori baik dan satu indikator dengan kategori kurang. The purpose of this study was to describe students' understanding of concepts through discovery learning learning models in thematic learning. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The data techniques used in this study were observation, tests and interviews. The research location chosen was SDN SUKAMELANG. The samples used were fourth grade students and the research subjects were students with high, medium and low scores who were grouped based on the results of the conceptual understanding test. Looking at the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be argued that the fourth grade students' understanding of the concept through the discovery learning model is classified as good. The average indicator that can be achieved is above 50%, which is obtained an average percentage of 58.05%. There are three indicators that are in good category and one indicator is in poor category.
