Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah rancangan model pembelajaran value clarification technique untuk meningkatkan nilai toleransi pada pembelajaran PKN khususnya bagi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Nilai toleransi adalah salah satu dari 18 karakter nasional yang sudah ditetapkan. Dan termasuk sebagai nilai yang perlu dibelajarkan karena nilai ini sangatlah penting bagi kehidupan sosial bermasyarakat. Sebuah nilai, sangat tepat diajarkan diusia dini agar pemahaman akan nilai dapat siswa kembangkan dan tertanam lama. Sebagaimana, pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan pelajaran yang memeluk nilai-nilai yang ada dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Namun, saat ini masih banyak beberapa kasus siswa-siswa yang belum memahami nilai toleransi, selain adanya bahan candaan yang bertujuan mengejek membuktikan bahwa mereka melupakan nilai toleransi yang seharusnya diterapkan dalam kehidupannya. Dengan begitu, ada harusnya setiap sekolah dan guru mengajarkan nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran, dengan model-model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk dikaitkan dengan materi pelajaran. Seperti halnya pada model pembelajaran Value Clarification Tehnique, yang tepat diterapkan dalam pelajaran PKN dan terfokus pada nilai-nilai yang ada dalam diri siswa atau belum ada. Gunanya model ini adalah untuk mengembangkan suatu nilai atau menumbuhkannya. Kata Kunci : Toleransi, model pembelajaran vct, nilai ABSTRACT This research aims to design the value clarification tehnique learning to increase the tolerance value in civic education, especially for grade IV elementary school students. The tolerance value is one of 18 national characters . And included as a value that needs to be learned because this value is really important for social life in society. A value, is very appropriate to be taught at an early age,that students can understanding. The values can be developed and buried for such a long time. As such, civic education lessons are lessons that embrace the values that exist in social life. However, at present there are still many cases of students who do not understand the value of tolerance, in addition to the jokes that aims to mocking. Prove that, the students forget about the tolerance value that should be applied in their lives. That way, there should be every school and teacher teaching the value of tolerance in learning, with appropriate learning models to be associated with the subject matter. As is the case with the Tehnique Value Clarification learning model, which is appropriately applied in civic education and is focused on values that exist in students or do not yet exist.
