Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang berdampak pada hasil belajar yang rendah atau belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Hal ini terjadi karena dalam proses pembelajaran, guru tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran Tema Daerah Tempat Tinggalku Subtema Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku Pembelajaran 1 dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Pangulah Selatan II Kecamatan Kotabaru, Kabupaten Karawang semester genap tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus ada beberapa langkah yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dimulai dari bulan Mei sampai Juni 2020. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi aktivitas guru dan observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian setiap siklusnya menunjukkan peningkatan. Dapat dilihat dari presentase data awal siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dan Bahasa Indonesia yang mencapai nilai KKM (≥70) hanya sebesar 48,14% dan 59,23%. Kemudian, pada siklus I menjadi lebih baik yaitu 66,67% dan 70,37% dan yang terakhir pada siklus II bertambah baik hingga mencapai 92,59% dan 88,89%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share dapat memperbaiki pembelajaran siswa kelas IV SDN Pangulah Selatan II Kecamatan Kotabaru, Kabupaten Karawang. ----- This research is motivated by the lack of student participation in the learning process which has an impact on learning outcomes that are low or have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This is because in the learning process, the learning model used is less varied. This study aims to improve the learning process in learning the themes of the area where i live, the subtypes of the environment where i live of learning 1 by applying the Cooperative Learning model Type Think Pair Share. The subjects of this study were four grade students of Pangulah Selatan II Elementary School, Kotabaru Sub-District, Karawang District, even in the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 27 students. The method used is class action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles, each cycle there are several steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The study starts from May to June 2020. Data collection is done through tests, observation of teacher activities and observation of student learning activities. The results of each cycle showed an increase. It can be seen from the initial percentage of student data in science and indonesia language that reached KKM score (≥70) only 48,14% and 59,23%. Then in cycle 1 get better is 66,67% and 70,37% and the last in cycle II get better until it reaches 92,59% and 88,89%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning model of the Think Pair Share type has improve learning process at four grade students of Pangulah Selatan II Elementary School, Kotabaru Sub-District, Karawang District.
