Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share pada pokok bahasan Peristiwa Kebangsaan Masa Penjajahan Siswa Kelas V SDN Mekarwangi 04 Cikarang Barat Bekasi Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus dalam dua pertemuan, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat rencana tindakan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase didapatkan dengan menghitung skor Motivasi Belajar TEMATIK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar, dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan persentase skor Observasi Motivasi Belajar dari sebelum Penerapan Teknik Think Pair Share sebesar 63,75%, setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I skor rata-rata mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,23% menjadi 73,12%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 6,88% atau dari 73,12% pada siklus I menjadi 80,00% pada siklus II. This study aims to improve learning motivation through the application of the Think Pair Share learning model on the subject of the National Event during the colonial period for Class V SDN Mekarwangi 04 Cikarang Barat Bekasi for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles in two meetings, each cycle consisting of four action plans, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data analysis used was descriptive quantitative data analysis with the percentage obtained by calculating the THEMATIC Learning Motivation score. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share Learning Model increased Learning Motivation, as evidenced by an increase in the percentage of the Learning Motivation Observation score from before the application of the Think Pair Share Technique was 63.75%, after taking action in cycle I the average score increased by 7 , 23% to 73.12%. The increase also occurred in cycle I to cycle II, amounting to 6.88% or from 73.12% in cycle I to 80.00% in cycle II.
