Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya kesulitan membaca permulaan dikelas 2 SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kesulitan membaca permulaan (2) faktor penyebab kesulitan membaca permulaan (3) solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca pernulaan pada 2 orang siswa kelas II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa kelas II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi, display dan verifikasi sedangkan validitas data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, dua siswa kelas II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi yang bernama AN dan NI mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan melalui hasil tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang telah dianalisis, hasilnya yaitu AN dan NI (1) belum mampu mengenal huruf (2) belum mampu membaca suku kata (3) belum mampu membaca huruf digraf (4) menghilangkan huruf (5) pemfrase yang salah. This research is motivated by the difficulty of the beginning reading of class II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi. This research aims to figure out (1) the difficulty of beginning reading (2) causetive factor difficulty of beginning reading (3)a solution for resolve of beginning reading to the two students of class II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were the two male students of class II SDN 05 Tebing Tinggi 2019/2020 school year in the second semester. The data collection techniqueare tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses reduction, display and verification while the validity of research data uses data triangulation.The result shows that the two male studentsof the second grade of Elementary School 5 Tebing Tinggi with the initial AN and NI having difficulity beginning reading.This can be proven through the results of tests and interviews that have been analyzed AN and NI are still difficult(1) recognize letters (2) have not been able to read syllables (3) have not been able to read letters in a graph (4) eliminate letters and (5) incorrect framing.
