Abstract

ABSTRAK Maya Handayani (2020) Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Menggunakan Media Gambar Pada Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan hasil dari peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan media gambar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang sifatnya studi literatur. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa sekolah dasar. Data yang diperoleh peneliti sifatnya sekunder dan akan mengedepankan studi literatur yang berasal dari jurnal, artikel, penelitian terdahulu maupun data dari situs internet yang sesuai dengan masalah yang akan dikaji. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid 19 yang mengharuskan peneliti untuk mengambil data peneliti dari hasil data sekunder dan penelitian terdahulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan menggunakan media gambar mengalami peningkatan dengan cara : adanya media gambar yang disiapkan oleh guru, guru memberi motivasi terhadap siswa, memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa serta melakukan evaluasi setelah menulis puisi. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari aktivitas siswa selama menulis puisi. Seperti tanggung jawab siswa terhadap tugasnya dalam menulis puisi, perhatian siswa (fokus siswa), keberanian siswa dalam melakukan tanya jawab dengan guru maupun teman, serta semangat dalam menggungkapkan gagasan. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi tersebut terlihat meningkat dari salah satu penelitian terdahulu dengan rata-rata nilai tes menulis puisi pada siklus I 68,41, dan nilai rata-rata siklus II 73,27. Hal ini dapat dikatakan meningkat dari percobaan I hingga percobaan kedua sebesar 4,86. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan,Menulis,Puisi, Gambar Abstract Maya Handayani (2020) Improving Poetry Writing Skills Using Image Media in Grade IV Elementary School Students This study aims to improve the learning process and the results of improving poetry writing skills by using picture media in elementary school students. This type of research is a qualitative study which is the study of literature. The research subjects are elementary school students. The data obtained by the researcher are secondary in nature and will prioritize the study of literature originating from journals, articles, previous studies as well as data from internet sites that are relevant to the problem to be examined. This is due to the Covid 19 pandemic which requires researchers to retrieve researcher data from the results of secondary data and previous research. The research method used in this research is the study of literature. The results of the study indicate that the process of learning to write poetry using picture media has increased by: the presence of drawing media prepared by the teacher, the teacher motivates students, provides guidance to students and evaluates after writing poetry. This increase can be seen from the activities of students while writing poetry. Such as student responsibility for their duties in writing poetry, student attention (student focus), students' courage in conducting question and answer with teachers and friends, as well as enthusiasm in expressing ideas. The improvement of poetry writing skills is seen to be improved from one of the previous studies with the average value of the poetry writing test in the first cycle 68.41, and the average value of the second cycle 73.27. This can be said to increase from experiment I to the second experiment at 4.86. Keywords: Skills, Writing, Poetry, Pictures
