Abstract

ABSTRAK Hilda Chika Hizkia. 2020. Pembinaan Karakter Disiplin Siswa melalui Program Tahfiz Al-Quran di Sekolah Dasar: Studi Kasus di Kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa. Pendidikan nasional bertujuan menciptakan manusia yang beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan serta memiliki karakter yang baik. Namun kenyatannya, masih sering dijumpai permasalahan-permasalahan yang mencerminkan penurunan karakter, salah satunya penurunan karakter disiplin siswa. Untuk itu, sekolah dasar merupakan tempat yang penting dalam membina karakter disiplin. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya membentuk suatu program yang memiliki implikasi terhadap karakter disiplin siswa, yaitu program tahfiz Al- Quran. SDIT At-Taqwa merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan program tahfiz Al-Quran yang wajib diikuti peserta didiknya. Untuk itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa melalui program tahfiz Al-Quran di kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa. Adapun penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan program tahfiz Al-Quran di kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa dan implikasi dari program tersebut terhadap karakter disiplin siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, sedangkan subjek yang digunakan berfokus pada siswa kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa yang berjumlah 34 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada masa pandemi covid 19, sehingga memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengumpulkan data melalui observasi. Untuk itu teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara semiterstruktur, studi dokumentasi serta kuesioner. Dimana hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini yaitu program tahfiz Al-Quran di kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa dilaksanakan setiap hari minggu pukul 08.00-09.30 seperti pembelajaran pada umumnya dan hasil kuesioner yang memperlihatkan adanya implikasi program tahfiz Al-Quran terhadap karakter disiplin siswa menunjukkan 93% responden menjawab tepat, hal tersebut diartikan bahwa sebanyak 93% siswa kelas V SDIT At-Taqwa memiliki karakter disiplin melalui program tahfiz Al-Quran. Development of Discipline Character at Primary School Through the Quran Tahfiz Program: Case Study in class V SDIT At-Taqwa. National Education aims to create people who believe, fear God and have good character. But the reality, still often encountered problems that reflect the decline of character, one of the decline in character discipline of students. For that, elementary school is an important place in building discipline characters. Efforts that can be done include forming a program that has implications for the character discipline of students, namely Quran tahfiz program. SDIT At-Taqwa is a school that implements the Quran tahfiz program that participants must follow. For that, researchers conducted research on the development of character discipline students through the Quran Tahfiz program in class V SDIT At-Taqwa. The research intends to know, analyze and describe the process of implementing the Quran tahfiz program in the class V SDIT At-Taqwa and the implications of the program on the character discipline of students. The approach used is a qualitative approach with case study methods, while the subjects used focus on SDIT At-Taqwa class students numbering 34 people. This research was conducted during the Garry 19 pandemic, so it has limitations in collecting data through observation. For that data collection techniques are done with a semiterstructural interviews, documentation studies as well as questionnaires. Where the results of this research conducted is the Quran tahfiz program in class V SDIT At-Taqwa held every Sunday at 08.00-09.30 such as general learning and results of a questionnaire showing the implications of the Quran tahfiz program on the character discipline of students showed 93% of respondents answered precisely, it means that as many as 93% of grade V students At-Taqwa have a disciplined character through the Quran tahfiz program.
