Abstract

Rencana pembelajaran yang memperhatikan respon siswa terhadap materi, sangat diperlukan pada proses pembelajaran. Munculnya respon yang beragam ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru untuk mengetahui hambatan siswa (learning obstacle) dalam memahami konsep tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat satu desain didaktis berdasarkan hambatan epistimologis siswa pada materi Hukum Archimedes dan Viskositas, sehingga hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa pada proses pembelajaran dapat diminimalisasi atau bahkan dapat dieliminasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Didactical Design Research (DDR) dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti, siswa mengalami hambatan belajar dalam beberapa aspek pada materi Hukum Archimedes dan viskositas. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa, peneliti melakukan penelitian Didactical Design Research (DDR). Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan analisis, yaitu analisis prospektif (analisis situasi didaktis), analisis metapedadidaktik, serta analisis retrospektif yang dilakukan terhadap siswa di salah satu SMA di kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa pada materi Hukum Archimedes dan Viskositas mampu diminimalisasi, setelah desain didaktis diimplementasikan. Learning plans that pay attention to student responses to material, are very necessary in the learning process. The emergence of this diverse response can be a reference for the teacher to know the learning obstacle in understanding certain concepts. The purpose of this study is to make a didactical design based on the epistemological obstacle of students in the material of Archimedes Law and Viscosity, so that learning obstacles experienced by students in the learning process can be minimized or even eliminated. The research design used was Didactical Design Research (DDR) with a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of preliminary studies conducted by researchers, students experienced learning obstacles in several aspects of the material of Archimedes' Law and viscosity. Therefore, to overcome the learning obstacles experienced by students, researchers conducted a research on Didactical Design Research (DDR). This study consisted of three stages of analysis, which are prospective analysis (didactical situation analysis), metapedadetic analysis, and retrospective analysis conducted on students in one of the high schools in the city of Bandung. The results of the study show that some learning obstacles experienced by students in the material of Archimedes’ Law and Viscosity can be minimized, after the didactical design is implemented.
