Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata hasil Penilaian Akhir Semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang masih banyak siswa kurang dari Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) pada siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri Wilayah A Kota Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self esteem terhadap hasil belajar dan pengaruh disiplin belajar sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanatori dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pengumpul data. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung Wilayah A yaitu sebanyak 377 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 377 siswa atau keseluruhan populasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self esteem berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, dan disiplin belajar berperan memediasi pengaruh self esteem terhadap hasil belajar ----- This research is based on students learning outcomes in economic subjects which are shown by the average result of PAS academic years 2017/2018 which is less than the Minimum Criteria (KKM) subjects on student of class XI social science in public high school region A Bandung City.The purpose of this research is to knowed the influence of self esteem of learning outcomes and the influence of discipline learning as mediation variable. The method that used in this research is explanatory survey with using questionnaire as data collector tools. Population is all of XI IIS High School students in Bandung city of Region A as mush as 377 students by using saturation sampling technic, sample obtainable as much as 377 students or all of population . Analitical data technic used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the self esteem have influence on learning outcomes, and learning motivation have a role mediate the effect of self-concept on learning outcomes
