Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta di lapangan bahwa teks laporan hasil observasi merupakan jenis teks yang memiliki nama baru dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia sejak diberlakukan kurikulum 2013. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan peserta didik maupun guru belum terlalu memahami konsep atau teori teks laporan hasil observasi dan bahan ajar teks laporan hasil observasi masih kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi (1) mendeskripsikan fungsi teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik kelas X SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, (2) mendeskripsikan struktur teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik kelas X SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, (3) mendeskripsikan kaidah kebahasaan teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik kelas X SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, dan (4) mengembangkan bahan ajar teks laporan hasil observasi berdasarkan hasil kajian teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik kelas X SMA Labolatorium Percontohan UPI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu teks laporan hasil observasi yang ditulis oleh peserta didik kelas X SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil analisis fungsi, struktur, dan kaidah kebahasaan teks laporan hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebagai berikut. Pertama, fungsi yang ditemukan pada teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik, yaitu melaporkan objek penelitian, dan mendeskripsikan objek sesuai fakta-fakta yang ditemukan memiliki perbedaan fungsi sosial. Kedua, struktur yang ditemukan pada teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik, yaitu definisi umum, deskripsi bagian dan deskripsi manfaat. Namun, tidak semua teks memiliki struktur deskripsi maanfaat. Ketiga, Kaidah kebahasaan yang ditemukan pada teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik, yaitu kata benda, kata kerja, kopula, kata sifat, kata menyatakan (persamaan, perbedaan, dan pengelompokan), istilah ilmiah, dan kalimat pasif. Namun, pada kaidah kebahsaan istilah ilmiah tidak semua teks menggunakannya. Keempat, pengembangan bahan ajar teks laporan hasil observasi dari hasil kajian teks laporan hasil observasi karangan peserta didik yakni berupa handout mendapat tanggapan positif dari peserta didik. ;--- This research was carried out with a factual background that observation-based report texts had new labels in the Indonesian language course since the 2013 curriculum was implemented. This has caused students as well as teachers not to understand sufficiently concepts and theories of observation-based report texts and teaching materials of the observation-based report texts are still scarce.The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the functions of the observation-based report texts written by the students of Grade X UPI Lab School, (2) to describe the report text structures of by the students of Grade X UPI Lab School, (3) to describe the observation language rules of the report texts written by the students of class X UPI Lab School, and (4) to develop teaching materials of observation-based report texts for the students of Grade X UPI lab school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is observation-based report texts written by Grade X students of UPI Lab School. The data of this research is the result of the analysis of the language functions, structures, and rules of the observation-based report texts. The results of this study are as follows. First, the functions found in the report textswere to report the object of research and describe the object according to the facts found. Second, the structures found in the report texts consist of the general definition, section description and description of the benefits. Thirdly, the linguistic rules found in the texts of the observation reports include nouns, verbs, copulas, adjectives, words that express equations, differences, and groupings, scientific terms, and passive sentences. Fourth, the development of teaching materials for observation-based report texts in the form of handouts received positive responses from the students.
