Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas III sekolah dasar dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIIA di salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 20017/2018 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan rencana dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika kelas III F disalah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Bandung menjadi urgensi dilakukannya sebuah tindakan sekaligus menjadi alasan penelitian ini dilakukan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan 4 tahapan dimasing-masing siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika setelah diterapkannya model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan presentase peningkatan hasil belajar matematika yang peneliti peroleh melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Presentase tuntasnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa sebelum dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah sebesar 33%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 72% dan meningkat kembali menjadi 86% di siklus II. Peningkatan hasil belajar matematika ini diperoleh peneliti melalui perolehan nilai soal evaluasi dan lembar kerja siswa yang dikerjakan oleh siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat mmeningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III sekolah dasar:---Abstract: This reasearch purpose to increase the learning outcomes of mathematics subject 3^rd class Elementary School by implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Participants of this research is 3^rd class Elementary School in one of the Elementary School in Bandung city on academic year 2017/2018 with total of students as many as 36 people. The purpose of this research is to describe planning and implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and describe the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes by implementation of Problem Based Learning. The low learning outcomes of mathematics subject 3^rd F class Elementary School in one of Elementary School in Bandung city becomes urgency to do an action as well as the reason of implemented this research. The type of this research is classroom action research in two cycles, with 4 step. The steps is, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on this research has been found that there is an increase in learning outcomes of mathematics subject after implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL). The completion learning outcomes of mathematics subject before implementation of this research is 33% increased to 72% on first cycle and increased again to 86%. The increase learning outcomes of mathematics subject is obtained by reasercher by evaluation and worksheets of students. Based on this research, researcher conclude that implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) can increase the elearning outcomes of mathematics subject 3^rd class Elementary School.
