Abstract

Alih wahana merupakan proses perubahan dari satu jenis kesenian ke jenis kesenian lain. Terjadinya perubahan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat menarik untuk diteliti. Salah satunya adalah novel Hujan Bulan Juni yang dialihwahanakan ke film. Hujan Bulan Juni adalah karya yang sangat populer dan sering dialihwahanakan ke dalam jenis kesenian lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi berkaitan dengan 1) struktur novel Hujan Bulan Juni dengan alih wahananya; 2) perbandingan struktur novel Hujan Bulan Juni dengan alih wahananya; dan 3) pemanfaatan kajian alih wahana sebagai buku pengayaan pengetahuan di SMA. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengkaji novel dan film yaitu menggunakan teori struktural semiotik dan kajian ekranisasi : alih wahana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis komparatif yang membandingkan antara dua kelompok atau lebih dari suatu variabel tertentu. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel “Hujan Bulan Juni” dan film “Hujan Bulan Juni”. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa 1) Novel dan film Hujan Bulan Juni memiliki struktur yang lengkap; 2) Novel dan film Hujan Bulan Juni memiliki kesamaan dari judul, tema, dan nama tokoh. Novel dan film Hujan Bulan Juni mengalami beberapa penambahan, penciutan dan perubahan bervariasi dari setiap unsur-unsurnya. Unsur yang berubah saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain. Perubahan yang terjadi meliputi alur, penokohan, latar, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa. Perubahan yang banyak terjadi dialami oleh alur dan latar. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tujuan pengarang yang menggabungkan narasi dan puisi ke dalam cerita serta penonjolan latar; dan 3) Hasil analisis digunakan sebagai buku pengayaan yang dirancang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan kebutuhan siswa.;---Transformation is a process of changing one particular type of art into another type of art. This changing process is a very interesting phenomenon to be explored. One of them is the novel Hujan Bulan Juni that is transformed into a movie. Hujan Bulan Juni is a very prominent work that is often transformed from one literary work to another. This study aims at obtaining a description related to 1) the structure of the novel Hujan Bulan Juni with its transformed work; 2) the comparison of the structure of the novel Hujan Bulan Juni with its transformed work; and 3) the utilization of a study on the transformation as enrichment book in senior high school. The study employed descriptive method of comparative analysis that compares two groups or more in a certain variable. The sources of data used in the study were the novel “Hujan Bulan Juni” and the movie “Hujan Bulan Juni.” The data were collected from observation and documentation. The theory of semiotic structural and ecranisation: transformation were used to analyze the novel and the movie. The results of the study are 1) the novel and the movie have a complete structure; 2) the novel and the movie Hujan Bulan Juni have similarities in the title, theme, and the name of the characters. The novel and the movie Hujan Bulan Juni underwent several additions, reductions, and various change of each element. The elements changing influence each other. The changes that occur include the plot, characterization, setting, point of view, and the style of the language. A lot of changes occur in the plot and setting of the story. This is affected by the purpose of the author that combines narration and poetry into the story as well as the accentuation of the setting, and 3) the results of the analysis are used as an enrichment book that is designed in accordance with the curriculum and students’ needs.
