Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya sikap percaya diri peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model time token untuk meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik kelas III SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model PTK Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas III di salah satu SD Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah peserta didik yaitu 28 orang yang terdiri atas 13 orang siswa laki-laki dan 15 orang siswa perempuan. Alat pengumpul data dan pengolahan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan peserta didik, dan lembar observasi percaya diri peserta didik. Hasil untuk penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan percaya diri peserta didik yaitu pada siklus I mencapai 67,9% dan pada siklus II mencapai 85,1%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token ini dapat meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik.;---This research was conducted because of the low self-confidence of third grader elementary school students. One learning model that was applied to overcome this problem was a time token type cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the time token model to increase third grader elementary students’ self-confidence. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study was the third grader students in one of the public elementary schools in Bandung City with the number of students was 28 people consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. Data collection tools and data processing in this study were using quantitative and qualitative. The research instrument was the observation sheet about the activities of teachers and students, and the observation sheet about students’ confident. The results for this study indicated an increase in students' self-confidence, it was because in the first cycle reaching 67.9% and 85.1% in the second cycle. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of this time token type of cooperative learning model can increase students' self-confidence.
