Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya siswa yang memperoleh hasil belajar kurang dari Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi dilihat dari hasil Ujian Akhir Semester(UAS) genap pada SMA Negeri Kota Bandung Wilayah D tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pergaulan teman sebaya berperan memoderatori pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri Kota Bandung Wilayah D sebanyak 286 siswa. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 167 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Survey eksplanatori. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan variabel moderator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (i) kecerdasan emosional berada pada kategori sedang; motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang; pergaulan teman sebaya berada pada kategori tinggi, ii) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, (iii) motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, (iv) pergaulan teman sebaya berperan memoderatori secara positif (memperkuat) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar, dan (v) pergaulan teman sebaya berperan memoderatori secara negatif (memperlemah) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Motivasi Belajar, Pergaulan Teman Sebaya, Hasil Belajar This research is motivated by the large number of students who obtain learning outcomes less than the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) in Economic Subject viewed from the results of the Even Final Semester Examination at Bandung City Region D High School in 2018/2019 academic year. This study aims to determine whether peer interaction plays a role in moderating the influence of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on learning outcomes. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS of Senior High Schools in Bandung Region D as many as 286 students. By using a random sampling technique, a sample of 167 students was obtained. The method used is an explanatory survey. The data analysis technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with moderator variabels. The results showed that: (i) emotional intelligence was in the moderate category; learning motivation is in the medium category; peer association is in the high category, (ii) emotional intelligence has a positive effect on learning outcomes. (iii) learning motivation has positive effect on learning outcomes, (iv) peer intercation has a positive moderating role (strengthening) the effect of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes, and (v) peer relationships play a negative moderating role (weakening) the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes.
