Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis keagamaan pada program malam bina iman dan taqwa (MABIT) di SMP BPI 1 Bandung. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat program MABIT sebagai sumber belajar dan konsep model pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan serta sebagai faktor pendorong terintegrasinya mutu kurikulum sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang di gunakan ialah observasi dan wawancara kepada Pembina MABIT, Pembina Religi Club, stake holder, dan siswa SMP BPI 1 Bandung. Maka didapatkan hasil penelitian: sebuah pendekatan nilai-nilai keagamaan sebagai sumber belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan diantaranya metode komunikasi dalam mengambil prinsip general keagamaan berupa dialog, keteladanan dan habituasi sebagai warga negara yang berakhlak mulia. Program MABIT sebagai bentuk Konsep model kegiatan kewarganegaraan dalam PKn yaitu, mengatasi keterbatasan pengalaman belajar melalaui strategi membangun karakter bangsa yang berakhlak mulia dengan mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai agama islam dengan tujuan membentuk karakteristik warga negara yang baik sebagai pondasi strategi pendidikan budi pekerti. MABIT sebagai faktor pendorong terintegrasinya mutu kurikulum diantaranya sekolah mampu memanfaatkan sumber daya kurikulum secara efesien sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah, yang ditandai dengan berhasilnya membuka kesempatan guru dan siswa untuk berkembang melalui program ekstra dan kokulikuler seperti mengahasilkan kreatifitas dan produk pada pembelajaran, serta mampu membangun partisipasi masyarakat dengan sekolah dalam memajukan mutu pendidikan.;---This study discusses about the development of religious-based Civics through MABIT program in BPI JHS 1 Bandung. The purpose is to see the MABIT program as a learning resource and model concept on Civics, and as a stimulator factor for integrating the school curriculum quality. This study employed qualitative research design, imlementing the characteristic of case study. Two kinds of instruments were applied: observation and interviews to the leader of MABIT and religious club, also to the stakeholder and students of the school. The first finding, the approach of religious values used as a form of learning Civic Education such as the method of communication in taking the general principles through dialogue, exemplary and habituation as citizens of noble character. Secondly, MABIT program as a form of civic activity model concept in Civics is overcoming the limitations of learning experience through the strategy of building the noble nation character by actualizing Islamic religion values with the aim of forming good citizen characteristic as the foundation of character education strategy. The last, MABIT programis able to be the driving factor in the integration of curriculum quality and citizenship learning based on religious-based citizenship activities such as the school is able to utilize curriculum resources efficiently in accordance with the needs of the school which is marked by the successful opening of opportunities for teachers and students to grow through extra and kokulikuler programs such as producing creativity and products on learning, and able to build community participation with the school in advancing the quality of education.
