Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi. Penelitian ini merujuk pada Teori Motivasi Dua Faktor yang dikemukakan oleh Frederick Herzberg. Penelitian ini mengginakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket yang disebar sebelum pemberian treatment, lalu pemberian treatment berupa penggunaan model NHT, dan pemberian angket kedua setelah treatment yang disebarkan kepada siswa yang menjadi sampel berjumlah 35 orang dari 140 orang sebagai populasi. Pengolahan data dibantu dengan Microsoft Excel 2010. Hasil penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi berada pada kriteria tinggi yang artinya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dari perhitungan uji t pada hipotesis diketahui thitung > ttabel , artinya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Numbered Head Together, dan Motivasi Belajar --------- This research aims to understand the impact of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model on the learning motivation of students from SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi. The research refers to Fredrick Herzberg’s famous theory which proposed the two factors motivation, using the experimental methods of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Moreover, the data-collecting system is using three techniques devided as distributing questionnaires before the treatment, using the NHT model to give the treatment, and giving second questionnsires after treatment which are distibuted to 35-140 sample students, reflecting the population. The data processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. To put it in another way, the learning motivation of SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi’s students is considered high according to the research. It is shown that the cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together type significantly affects the student’s learning motivation. Based on the calculation of t-test on hypothesis, it is clearly stated that thitung > ttabel . In other words, the study cooperative model of Numbered Head Together type has been positively affecting the student’s learning motivation.
