Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi selama pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berlangsung. Permasalahan yang terjadi berkaitan dengan kemampuan bercerita siswa. Siswa mengalami masalah dalam hal penggunaan bahasa ketika bercerita. Banyaknya intevensi bahasa daerah membuat kemampuan bercerita siswa kurang maksimal. Peneliti mengupayakan peningkatan kemampuan bercerita siswa melalui metode pembelajaran bercerita berbantuan media auditif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil pembelajaran bercerita melalui metode pembelajaran bermain peran berbantuan media auditif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini terdiri atas 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMPN 2 Soreang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mendukung terkumpulnya data penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar penilaian penampilan bercerita, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, catatan lapangan, wawancara, angket, jurnal siswa, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknis analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini dilihat dari peningkatan kemampuan bercerita siswa dengan kategori minimal baik (B) serta memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal minimal 85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kemampuan bercerita siswa mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan terjadi di seluruh aspek bercerita, terutama pada aspek ekspresi dan gerak tubuh. Selain aspek bercerita, kemampuan berbahasa siswa juga meningkat. Pada siklus I aktivitas proses pembelajaran siswa mendapat kategori cukup (C), sedangkan pada siklus II mendapat kategori baik (B). Rata-rata nilai kemampuan bercerita siswa pada pra tindakan adalah 49.88, siklus I sebesar 59.80 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 8.33% dan siklus II sebesar 77.69 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 88.88%. ..... This research is motivated by problems that occur during learning. Problems that occur are related to students' storytelling abilities. Students experience problems in using language when telling stories. The number of regional language interference makes students' storytelling ability less than optimal. The researcher strives to improve students' ability to tell stories through auditive media assisted storytelling learning methods. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, and learning outcomes of storytelling through the learning method of role playing assisted by auditive media. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research design used was the research design of the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. This study consisted of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects in this study were seventh grade students of Soreang Junior High School 2. The instrument used to support the collection of the data in this study consisted of a performance score sheet telling stories, observation sheets of teacher and student activities, field notes, interviews, questionnaires, student journals, and documentation. Data analysis techniques carried out to analyze the data in this study are technical data analysis qualitatively and quantitatively. The success criteria in this study are seen from the improvement of students' ability to tell stories with a minimum good category (B) and fulfill the classical completeness of at least 85%. Based on the results of the study, students' storytelling abilities have increased. Increases occur in all aspects of storytelling, especially in aspects of expression and body movement. In addition to aspects of storytelling, students' language skills also increase. Based on the results of the study, students' storytelling abilities have increased. In the first cycle the learning process activities of students got enough categories (C), while in cycle II they got good categories (B). The average value of students' storytelling ability in pre-action is 49.88, cycle I is 59.80 with classical completeness 8.33% and cycle II is 77.69 with classical completeness 88.88%.
