Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan rhythm syllables untuk meningkatkan musikalitas siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Bandung. Kurangnya pembelajaran musik yang berfokus dalam pengembangan musikalitas siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas VIII B. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pengunaan rhythm syllables dalam proses pembelajaran musik yang dilakukan melalui pendekatanimitasi, eksplorasi, dan kreasi berkontribusi dalam peningkatan musikalitas siswa di sekloah. ..... This study aims to describe the application of rhythm syllables to improve the musicality of students in SMP Negeri 4 Bandung. Lack of music learning that focuses on developing students' musicality. The method used in this study is a classroom action research method which includes planning, action, observation and reflection with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were class VIII B. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of rhythm syllables in the process of learning music through the approach of imitation, exploration, and creation contributes to the improvement of students' musicality in school.
