Abstract

Penelitian ini dilandasi isu pengajaran sastra yang masih dipandang sebelah mata. Jika ditinjau lebih dalam tidak efektifnya pengajaran sastra salah satunya karena masih kurangnya bahan ajar apresiasi sastra di sekolah. Padahal karya sastra memiliki relevansi dengan masalah-masalah yang terjadi di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan manfaat yang diperoleh dari buku kumpulan cerpen Tart di Bulan Hujan karya Bakdi Soemanto. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif (analisis deskriptif). Cara kerja penelitian ini melalui analisis struktural Robert Stanton secara keseluruhan, di bagian alur dan pengaluran menggunakan analisis model Todorov, lalu dilanjutkan menganalisis efek gaya absurd dalam cerpen. Selanjutnya, peneliti membuat rancangan buku teks untuk dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas XI di SMA/ SMK. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya struktur alur dan pengaluran, tokoh dan penokohan, latar dan pelataran, tema, judul, gaya dan tone, sudut pandang, dan simbolisme dalam kumpulan cerpen Tart di Bulan Hujan karya Bakdi Soemanto. Unsur absurd dalam kumpulan cerpen Tart di Bulan Hujan muncul melalui tokoh, alur, tema, dan gaya pengarang. Efek gaya absurd yang dibawa pengarang dalam cerpen membuat cerpen seolah tidak nyata karena gaya absurd menegasikan kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara keseluruhan cerpen-cerpen Bakdi memiliki kecenderungan absurd. Hasil penilaian bahan ajar (buku teks satu bab) yang peneliti buat dinyatakan layak digunakan oleh Expert-Judgement sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah.;--This research is based on literature teaching issues that still underestimated. If we look closer and deeply, there is ineffective literature teaching one of reason is lack of literary appreciation materials in schools. Though literary work has relevance to the problems that occur in the surrounding environment. This study aim to give a benefits derived from the book collection short stories Tart di Bulan Hujanby Bakdi Soemanto.This research belongs to the type of qualitative research (descriptive analysis). The workings of this research through the structural analysis of Robert Stanton as a whole, in the flow and distribution using the Todorov model analysis, then proceed to analyze the effects of absurd forces in the short story. Then, the researcher made a design of textbook as a alternative teaching material for Indonesian Language class XI in High School/Vocational High School.The result of this research found the structure of flow and distribution, character and characterization, setting and court, theme, title, style and tone, perspective and symbolism in the short stories collection Tart di Bulan Hujanby Bakdi Soemanto. The absurd things appears through characters, plot, themes and author’s style. The absurd style effect that the author brings in the short story makes the reader experience incidents that are out of logic that are ridiculous, besides that the absurd element that appears does not make the reader difficult to understand the core of the story or idea to be conveyed by the author. The three Bakdi short stories in the Tart di Bulan Hujanas a whole have a tendency to be absurd, not absurd at all so that the reader especially students still understand the contents of the short stories. The results of the assessment of teaching materials (one-chapter textbook) that researchers made were declared worthy of use by Expert-Judgment as an alternative teaching material in schools.
