Abstract

Fenomena di lapangan ditemukan bahwa siswa tidak maksimal dalam menyampaikan pidato seperti grogi, terbata-bata, tidak menguasai audiens, dan penguasaan materi yang minim. Padahal menyampaikan pidato harus menguasai aspek kebahasaan dan nonkebahasaan, yakni memiliki sikap yang wajar, tenang, pandangan ke audiens, gestur yang tepat, nada, intonasi yang tepat, diksi yang tepat, pendalam isi, dan pengusaan isi pidato. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan dan dicapai melalui penggunaan pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu mengembangkan kecakapan siswa dalam berpidato. Metode NLP berbantuan literasi informasi merupakan jawaban untuk mengatasi problematik pembelajaran pidato. Tujuan penggunaan metode ini adalah meningkatkan percaya diri dan penguasaan materi siswa secara baik dan maksimal. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket, dan tes unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode NLP berbantuan literasi informasi dapat mengatasi problematik dan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menyampaikan pidato. Hasil ini dibuktikan berdasarkan uji statistik dan respons guru terhadap penggunaan metode NLP berbantuan literasi informasi. Hasil uji statistik non parametric bahwa nilai sig. 0,000 <0,05 sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan. Respons guru menyatakan metode NLP berbantuan literasi informasi membantu siswa meningkatkan percaya diri, membangun motivasi, dan memudahkan siswa mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.;--The phenomenon in the field was found that students are not optimal in delivering speeches such as nervousness, stuttering, not mastering the audience, and minimal mastery of the material. Though delivering a speech must master the linguistic and non-linguistic aspects, namely having a reasonable attitude, calm, view to the audience, the right gesture, tone, and the right intonation, the right diction, the deepening of the contents, and the mastery of the contents of the speech. This can be realized and achieved by using innovative learning than that is able to develop students' speaking skills. The NLP method assisted with information literacy is the answer to overcoming the problem of speech learning The purpose of using this method is to increase self-confidence and mastery of student material properly and optimally. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. Data collection techniques carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and performance tests. The results of this study indicate that the NLP method assisted with information literacy can overcome problems and improve students' ability to deliver speeches. This result was proven based on statistical tests and teacher responses to the use of NLP methods assisted by information literacy. Non-parametric statistical test results that the value of sig. 0,000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there are significant differences. The teacher's response states that the NLP method is assisted by information literacy to help students increase self-confidence, build motivation, and make it easier for students to achieve learning goals.
