Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan sekolah yang secara khusus mempersiapkan lulusannya untuk menjadi tenanga kerja terampil dan terlatih. Terdapat tiga jenis kegiatan sekolah yaitu intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Ketiga kegiatan ini saling berkaitan untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah. Ekstrakurikuler berbasis kompetensi keahlian yang diterapakan SMKN 2 Cimahi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa pada kompetensi keahliannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar Dasar Program Keahlian (C2) siswa yang mengikuti kegaiatan ekstrakurikuler tersebut (Y1) dengan yang tidak mengikuti (Y2) dan mencari pengaruh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler (X) terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran C2, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif untuk mengetahui perbedaan Y1 dengan Y2, dan metode assosiatif untuk mengetahui pengaruh X terhadap Y1. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKN 2 Cimahi dengan populasi siswa kelas XI Teknik Mekatronika. Sampel berjumlah tiga puluh siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tersebut dan tiga puluh siswa yang tidak mengikuti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda untuk mengukur prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran C2 dan angket untuk mengukur dampak yang dirasakan siswa setelah mengikuti ekstrakurikuler tersebut. Pengujian data dilakukan dengan Independent Sample T-Test untuk uji hipotesis komparatif dan regresi linear sederhana untuk uji hipotesis asosiatif. Dari uji hipotesis yang pertama didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar C2 antara siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis kompetensi keahlian dengan yang tidak mengikuti. Hasil uji hipotesis yang kedua menyatakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis kompetensi keahlian memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran C2.;--Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the secondary schools that specifically prepares their graduates to become skilled and ready to work. There are three types of activities in school they are intracurricular, cocurricular and extracurricular. These three activities are related to achieve school’s goals. Extracurricular activities based on competency that applied at SMKN 2 Cimahi designed to improve students' understanding of their competency. The purpose of this research are to determine the differences between students who attend extracurricular activities based on competency with those who don't and look for the effects of extracurricular activities on the learning achievement of Basic Subjects in Basic Learning Skills Programs (C2). This research use quantitative approach with comparative and associative methods. The research was conducted SMKN 2 Cimahi. The population are class XI Mechatronics Engineering students. The amount of sample is 30 students who took part in extracurricular activities based on competency and 30 students who didn't take that extracurricular, taken by using random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques are using objective test and questionnaire while data testing are using Independent Sample T-Test to determine differences and simple linear regression methods to find out the effect. The hypothesis test is using the significance test. Besed on the first hypothesis test it shows that there are differences in the achievement of basic learning skills programs between students who take extracurricular activities based on competency expertise with those who don't. The second hypothesis test stated that the extracurricular activities based on competency effected the achievement in basic subjects of XI Class Mechatronics Engineering SMKN 2 Cimahi.
