Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program praktik kerja industri program keahlian teknik otomotif SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP (Contex-Input-Process-Product). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah hubungan industri dan masyrakat, ketua program keahlian teknik otomotif, guru pembimbing, pembimbing DU/DI dan peserta didik program keahlian teknik otomotif yang sudah menyelesaikan Prakerin. Subyek penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan Criterion Based Selection atau disebut Purposive Sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data Miles and Huberman. Instrument yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuisoner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) gambaran alur pelaksanaan Prakerin program kehalian teknik otomotif SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang bahwa dalam pelaksanaannya dokumentasi portofolio tidak ada jika disandingkan dengan alur pelaksanaan yang dibuat Kemendikbud, (2) evaluasi konteks menggambarkan masih ada kekurangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik, yakni: (a) ketersedian tempat Prakerin, (b) peralatan yang ada di tempat Prakerin, (3) evaluasi input menggambarkan masih kurangnya pemahaman tentang materi pembekalan Prakerin (4) evaluasi proses, yakni: (a)proses pelaksanaan program berjalan sesuai jadwal, namun masih adanya permasalahan seperti pemonitoringan yang tidak sesuai rencana, (b) masih ada pelanggaran yang dilakukan peserta didik; dan (5) evaluasi produk, yakni: (a) peningkatan kedisiplinan serta keterampilan peserta didik (b) Membuka link and match dengan DU/DI terkait.;--The purpose of the study was to evaluate the implementation of the industrial work program of the automotive engineering expertise program at SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang. The research method uses a qualitative research approach with a CIPP (Contex-Input-Process-Product) evaluation model. The subjects of this study were the vice principal of industrial and community relations, the head of the automotive engineering expertise program, the supervisory teacher, the DU / DI supervisor and the automotive engineering expertise program students who had already completed the internship. The research subjects are determined based on Criterion Based Selection or called Purposive Sampling. Data analysis techniques used Miles and Huberman data analysis. The instruments used were interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate: (1) a description of the flow of the implementation of the apprenticeship of the automotive engineering expertise program of SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang that in the implementation of portfolio documentation there is no juxtaposition with the implementation flow made by the Ministry of Education and Culture, (2) evaluation of the context illustrates that there are still deficiencies in meeting the needs of students , namely: (a) availability of apprenticeship sites, (b) existing equipment in apprenticeship sites, (3) evaluation of inputs illustrates the lack of understanding of the apprenticeship supplies material (4) evaluation of processes, namely: (a) the process of program implementation goes according to schedule , but there are still problems such as monitoring that is not according to plan, (b) there are still violations committed by students; and (5) product evaluation, namely: (a) improvement in discipline and student skills (b) Opening links and matches with related DU/DI.
