Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil miskonsepsi siswa SMA Negeri kelas XI di Kabupaten Majalengka pada materi termokimia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat pada materi termokimia hasil pengembangan Rubianti (2016), terdiri dari 16 butir soal dan telah diuji validitas maupun reliabilitasnya dengan nilai CVR adalah 1 serta nilai KR20 sebesar 0,809. Instrumen diaplikasikan pada siswa SMA Negeri kelas XI di sekolah kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Pengkategorian sekolah didasarkan pada nilai Ujian Nasional. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi yang paling banyak adalah konsep reaksi eksoterm dengan persentase sebesar 46,10%. Miskonsepsi siswa SMA Negeri kelas XI pada materi termokimia di sekolah kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan baik berdasarkan persentase total miskonsepsi siswa maupun uji ANAVA satu jalur, ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,001. ..... The aim of this research is to determine profile of the eleventh grade senior high school students’ misconceptions in Kabupaten Majalengka on thermochemistry. The instrument that used in this research is two-tier multiple choice diagnostic test on thermochemistry as a result of the development that has been done by Rubianti (2016), which consists 16 questions, its validity and reliability has been tested. The value of CVR is 1 and the value of KR20 is 0,809. The instrument applied to eleventh grade high school sudents in high, middle and low category school. Categorization of schools is based on national examination scores. The results of the test show that the most common misconception among students is exothermic reaction. The percentage of that misconception is 46,10%. The difference of eleventh grade senior high students’ misconception in high, middle and low category school is significant based on total percentage of misconceptions and one way ANAVA test result shows the significance value is <0,05, that is 0,001.
