Abstract

Menurut Kemendikbud, SMK mengutamakan penyiapan peserta didik untuk memasuki lapangan kerja, oleh karena itu dilakukan program PKL. Manfaat PKL yaitu menambah dan meningkatkan kompetensi serta dapat menanamkan etos kerja yang tinggi, tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat beberapa permasalahan yaitu, peserta didik tidak selalu mendapatkan pekerjaan dan kurang bersosialisasi dengan pihak DU/DI. Salah satu yang mempengaruhi kompetensi kerja adalah pengalaman PKL. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu, 1) mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman PKL peserta didik kelas XII Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) SMKN Rajapolah 2) mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi kerja peserta didik kelas XII TGB SMKN Rajapolah setelah melaksanakan PKL 3) mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman PKL terhadap kompetensi kerja peserta didik kelas XII TGB SMKN Rajapolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dan menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik parametrik. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII TGB SMKN Rajapolah tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan tes prestasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, gambaran pengalaman PKL peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, gambaran kompetensi kerja peserta didik yaitu kemampuan soft skill termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, dan gambaran kompetensi kerja peserta didik yaitu kemampuan hard skill termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Untuk pengaruh pengalaman PKL terhadap kompetensi kerja peserta didik yaitu kemampuan soft skill memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, sedangkan pengaruh PKL terhadap kompetensi kerja peserta didik yaitu kemampuan hard skill tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan.---------- According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, Vocational high School prioritize the preparation of students to enter the workforce, therefore the field work practice (FWP) program is conducted. The benefits of street vendors are adding and increasing competence and can instill a high work ethic, but in its implementation there are several problems, namely, students do not always get a job and do not socialize with the Business/Industrial World. One that affects work competence is the experience of street vendors. The purpose of this study is to 1) Knowing how the experience of FWP of students in class XII of the Building Construction Engineering (BCE) expertise program at SMK Rajapolah 2) Knowing how the work competencies of students in class XII of the BCE expertise program at SMK Rajapolah 3) Knowing how the influence of FWP practice experiences on work competence of students in class XII of the BCE expertise program at SMK Rajapolah. The research method used in quantitative descriptive method, and uses parametric statistical data analysis techniques. The sample in this research is study were students of class XII BCE expertise program at SMK Rajapolah 2018/2019. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire and achievement tests. The result showed, the description of the experience of FWP of students included in the very high category, the description of the work competency of students, namely the soft skill ability included in the very high category, and the description of the work competency of students, namely the hard skill ability included in the high category. For the influence of the experience of FWP on the work competence of students, namely the ability of soft skills has a significant effect. While the influence of FWP experience on students work competencies, namely the ability of hard skills does not have a significant effect.
