Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) kemampuan awal menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin sebelum mendapat pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write dengan menggunakan media gambar. (2) kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin setelah mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write dengan menggunakan media gambar. (3) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write dengan menggunakan media gambar terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas IV MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Kecamatan Sukatani Kabupaten Purwakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IVA yang menerapkan model cooperative learning type think talk write dengan menggunakan media gambar dan kelas IVB yang menerapkan pembelajaran terlangsung dan tidak menggunakan media gambar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan skor pretes keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi antara siswa yang berada di kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. (2) Keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write menggunakan media gambar lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran terlangsung dan tidak menggunakan media gambar. (3) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe thimk talk write dengan menggunakan media gambar dapat mempengaruhi keterampilam menulis karangan deskripsi siswa.;--- This study aims to determine: 1) initial ability to write essay description of fourth grade students of MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin before getting learning using cooperative learning model type think talk write by using picture media. (2) ability to write essay description of fourth grade student of MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin after got cooperative learning model type think talk write by using picture media. (3) the influence of model of cooperative learning type think talk write by using the media of drawing on the ability to write essay description of fourth grade students of elementary school. This study uses quasi-experimental method. The population is the fourth grader of MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sukatani District Purwakarta Regency. Sample in this research is class IVA applying cooperative learning type think talk write by using media of image and class of IVB applying of learning and not using media of image. Technique of collecting data using ability writing test by description. The results of the study were as follows: (1) There was no difference in the pretest score of writing skill description between the students who were in the control class with the experimental class. (2) Writing skill written by students who get cooperative learning model of think talk write type using image media better than students who get the learning process and do not use the picture media. (3) Cooperative learning model type thimk talk write by using the image media can affect the ability to write student description essay
