Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SDN CST. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan conferencing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SDN CST. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas IV SDN CST dengan jumlah 38 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diambil menggunakan teknik dari Miles dan Huberman. Sedangkan, data kuantitatif diambil menggunakan statistik rata-rata dan persentase. PTK ini dilaksanakan dalam III siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang telah disusun secara baik mengimplikasikan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa. Pada siklus I kemampuan kerja sama siswa berada pada tingkatan butuh bimbingan dengan persentase sebesar 53,80%. Pada siklus II persentasenya meningkat menjadi 76,89% dan pada siklus III persentasenya meningkat menjadi 88,23%. Ini berarti bahwa penerapan pendekatan conferencing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SDN CST.;--This research is based on the low level of cooperation ability of fourth grade students of SDN CST. This is because the teaching method applied by the teacher is less precise. This study aims to describe the application of the conferencing approach to improving the ability of cooperation of fourth grade students of SDN CST. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The subject of the research is the fourth grade students of SDN CST with the number of 38 people. Data collection techniques used were observations and field notes. Data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data were taken using techniques from Miles and Huberman. Whereas, the quantitative data were drawn using average stats and percentages. This PTK is implemented in III cycles. The results of this study indicate that the planned implementation of learning (RPP) that has been well developed implies improving the quality of learning. So it can improve students' cooperation ability. In cycle I the ability of student cooperation is at the level needing guidance with a percentage of 53.80%. In cycle II the percentage increased to 76.89% and in the third cycle the percentage increased to 88.23%. This means that the implementation of conferencing approach can improve the ability of cooperation of fourth grade students of SDN CST.
