    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan variabel mediator motivasi belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei eksplanatori dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 1036 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 311 siswa menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (i) siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN di Kota Cirebon cenderung memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik, motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang, dan hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang; (ii) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap motivasi belajar; (iii) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar; (iv) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar melalui motivasi belajar.;--The study aims to determine the influence of student learning styles on student learning outcomes with learning motivation as mediator variable. Method in this research is used explanatory survey by questionnaire as the tool to collect the data. Population in this research is 1036 students and sample 311 students by using stratified random sampling technique. Analysis technique data used is path analysis. Result of the reseach showing: (i) the eleventh grade social class at Senior High School in Cirebon City tend to have kinesthetic learning style, learning motivation is in middle category, student learning outcomes is in middle category; (ii) there is an influence of learning styles on learning motivation on economic subjects; (iii) there is an influence of learning styles on learning outcomes on economic subjects; (iv) there is influence of learning styles to learning outcomes through learning motivation on economic subjects.
