Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul ”Kontribusi Program Praktik Kerja Industri Terhadap Pemenuhan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan di SMK Negeri Se- Kota Bandung”. Masalah yang diangkat adalah kesenjangan kompetensi lulusan SMK dengan kebutuhan riil pihak DUDI. Usaha sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi yaitu melalui program praktik kerja industri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh berapa besar kontribusi program praktik kerja industri terhadap pemenuhan standar kompetensi lulusan di SMK Negeri Se-Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berskala likert. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMKN di Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 7.746 siswa, pengambilan sampel sebanyak 333 siswa. Pengolahan data menunjukan kecenderungan umum variabel X dengan rata-rata 4,01 termasuk kategori sangat baik dan variabel Y dengan rata- rata 4,27 termasuk kategori sangat baik. Uji normalitas distribusi data variabel X dan Y berdistribusi normal. Perhitungan korelasi sebesar 0,395 menunjukan terdapat kontribusi yang rendah, uji signifikansi sebesar 7,818 menunjukan signifikan karena thitung (7.818) > ttabel (1,645). Besarnya pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y dari hasil analisis koefisien determinasi (KD) sebesar 15,6% dan sisanya 84,4% dipengaruhi faktor lainnya seperti keyakinan dan nilai-nilai, keterampilan, karakteristik kepribadian, motivasi, isu emosional, kemampuan intelektual, dan budaya organisasi. Adapun persamaan regresi adalah Ŷ = 34,264 + 0,395X, artinya perubahan satu unit pada variabel X akan memberikan perubahan pada variabel Y sebesar 0,395 satuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara program praktik kerja industri terhadap pemenuhan standar kompetensi lulusan di SMK Negeri Se-Kota Bandung. This research entitled "Contribution of Industrial Work Practices Program towards Fulfillment of Graduates Competency Standards in Vocational Schools in Bandung City". The problem that was raised is the gap in the competence of VHS graduates with the real needs of DUDI. Schools implemented the industrial work practice programs to improve competencies. The purpose of this research is to know how much the industrial work practice program contributes to fulfillment of graduates' competency standards in Vocational Schools in Bandung City. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The technique of collecting data uses a Likert scale questionnaire. The population of this study is students of class XII VHS in Bandung City in 2018/2019 academic year totaling 7,746 students, taking a sample of 333 students. The results of data showed a general tendency of variable X with an average of 4.01 including the excellent category and variable Y with an average of 4.27 including the excellent category. From distribution normality test its know that variables X and Y are normally distributed. Correlations of 0.395 shows that there is a low contribution between the variables X and Y, the significance test is 7.818 which shows significant because tcount (7.818) > ttable (1,645). The magnitude effect of variable X on Y from the analysis coefficient of determination (KD) is 15.6% and the remaining 84.4% is influenced by other factors such as beliefs and values, skills, personality characteristics, motivation, emotional issues, intellectual abilities, and organizational culture. The regression equation is Ŷ = 34.264 + 0.395X, it’s mean that if one unit of variabel X change will give a change to the variable Y of 0.395 units. The results of the study is a positive and significant influence between the industrial work practice program on fulfilling the competency standards of graduates in Vocational Schools in Bandung City.
